    Project Manager

    GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

    This position has the overall responsibilities of:

    • Delivering the objectives of premium property development projects by managing end to end components and details.
    • Coordinating architects, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
    • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Managing project budgets, schedules, workplans and all resources to ensure projects are completed with all necessary approvals and within budgets.
    • Managing, developing, coaching and motivating the project team to ensure SOPs, safety, environment and health protocols and all controls are strictly adhered to.
    • Identifying and mitigating potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing proactive strategies to minimize risks, delays and budget overruns.
    • Developing and delivering accurate and timely project status reports including issues arising and proposed solutions, planned versus actual cost trends, any scope variations, planned versus actual schedule updates to directors’ and stakeholders.

    SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the following Core job elements:

    • Participate in, offer recommendations to the project management’s steering committee.
    • Oversee and manage all aspects of real estate development projects. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
    • Provide support with negotiating project contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure adherence to project specifications and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop and manage relationships with local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with local regulations and permits
    • Manage project budgets, track expenses, performance KPIs, service levels, and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are being met within budgetary constraints.
    • Proactively identify and implement solutions to resolve complex challenges and keep projects on track.
    • Prepare and present project updates, status reports, and financial analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Conduct ongoing site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality standards and safety protocols.
    • Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders to facilitate successful site acquisitions and ongoing collaboration,
    • Maintain communication with all parties to provide updates, address concerns, and resolve issues as they arise.

    EDUCATIONAL AND COLLATERAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • An undergraduate degree from an accredited University with at least eight years’ experience in real estate development and project management.
    • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
    • Ability to deliver impactful reports and insights with exceptional strategic, analytical, creative, communication, problem solving, team management and presentation skills.
    • Ability to effectively negotiate contracts, manage multiple projects simultaneously and navigate the complexities of real estate development.
    • Experience fulfilling property development regulatory requirements.
    • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
    • The fiduciary responsibilities call for demonstrated utmost integrity, a self-starter, mature individual.

    Communications Manager

    GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

    This position has the overall responsibilities of:

    • Working closely with leadership to develop, evolve and ensure brand equity, positioning and messaging meets desired strategic goals, is consistent and conveyed effectively across all channels and creative works.
    • Managing and optimizing communications plans, budgets, activities. Ensuring all communications initiatives are founded on commercial or strategic ‘return on investment’ KPIs and targets; that they are consistently met or surpassed. Providing proforma and actual or post event cost-benefit analysis to ensure investments align with agreed plans and budgets.
    • Ensuring the sales team is aligned with communications plans and activities. To ensure the sales plan is effectively promoted in the communications plans and activities. To work with the sales team to ensure commercial targets such as sales are achieved or surpassed.
    • Tracking, measuring and developing timely own and competition communications analysis report including customer events, all (broad, narrow, social) media impressions, editorial and direct advertising and advising leadership accordingly.

    SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Communications Manager is responsible and accountable for the following Core job elements:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that supports the company’s business objectives and enhances brand visibility.
    • Ensure communication plans and delivery support the achievement of sales objectives and achievement of targets.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to implement communication strategies, ensuring projects communications are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with brand guidelines.
    • Manage and maintain the company’s online presence, including the company website, social media channels, and other digital platforms, ensuring content is up-to-date, relevant, and brand equities are accurately delivered.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure coverage and enhance company’s reputation in the market.
    • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
    • Manage crisis communication, including the development of crisis management plans and responses to media inquiries.
    • Organize and coordinate events, including property launches, press briefings, and community engagement activities.
    • Oversee the production of all marketing and communication materials, ensuring quality and consistency in brand messaging and visual identity.
    • Provide guidance and train team members on best practices for internal and external communication.
    • Track, record, measure and report on a regular basis media impression for company, including editorial and direct advertising.

    EDUCATIONAL AND COLLATERAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • An undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited University
    • At least six years’ experience in communications, public relations or a related role, preferably within the real estate sector.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful communication strategies and
    • campaigns leading to achievement of targets attributable to the candidate’s effort.
    • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills. Ability to assess communication effectiveness and adjust strategies and plans accordingly.
    • Proficiency in social media management, digital communication strategies and familiar with various digital tools and platforms.
    • Ability and evidence of managing people with respect, promoting a caring attitude and continuous improvements. Evidence of continuous learning and execution of new practices.
