    Talent Management Specialist

    Role objectives    

    • To execute all staff planning & recruitment activities to ensure adequate, timely & compliant delivery of client services.
    • Responsibility for the CTG’s recruitment directives, administrative instruction, implementation of SOP’s, systems, standards & reporting structures for the company in all countries of service.
    • Take full accountability for the end to end recruitment of consultants for projects globally.
    • Develop & maintain strong working relationships with the respective in country & HQ management teams to ensure internal customer satisfaction.
    • Develop recruitment strategies including job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job boards, digital advertising & outsourcing as required.
    • Implement & seek to improve on ‘best in class’ recruitment processes for sourcing, screening, vetting & deployment.
    • Maintain & develop an active database of pre approved candidates & develop potential recruiting pools (industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, etc.).
    • Play a key role in the mobilization of new projects including trips to the field & management of large scale mass recruitment campaigns under strict time constraints.
    • Assist in planning for staff mobilization globally.
    • Assist the digital team with suggestions & input on improvements to our HRMS platform (Tayo).
    • Provide support & advice during annual audits to ISO 9001 standards.
    • Provide support & assistance on bids & proposals to the business development team.
    • Support the Team Leader in running regular & periodic reports from CTG's HRMS system.
    • Headhunting for hard to place vacancies globally utilizing company website & multiple media platforms including using various sourcing portals.
    • Able to conduct / deliver / prepare recruitment related trainings as & when needed
    • Other ‘ad hoc’ tasks as required.
    • Project reporting    
    • This role has no team management responsibility.

    Key competencies    

    • Bachelor's degree in HR or business management or related field is required.
    • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable relevant recruitment operations experience.
    • Fluency in English is essential.
    • S / He will be a great recruiter who can grow & develop the team & individuals within it.
    • A track record of devising & implementing innovative talent attraction & recruitment strategies.
    • The ‘hands on’ ability to source candidates utilizing multiple channels & approaches.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, able to integrate into a vibrant & sociable working environment.
    • Flexible & open to adapting to the changing demands of the business.
    • Highly collaborative & passionate about recruiting the best people.
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities, organize workloads & meet deadlines.
    • Experience in managing recruitment databases.
    • Good knowledge of recruitment tools, procedures & processes.
    • Excellent written & oral communication skills in English (other language skills a benefit).
    • Comprehensive capabilities in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • The ability to work on own initiative & to tight deadlines.
    • Flexibility & adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks & to work extra hours to meet deadlines.

    Resilience Officer (Roster)

    Role objectives    

    • Program design & implementation:
    • Support the design & implementation of FFA (Food Assistance for Assets) & CFA (Cash For Assets) projects, ensuring alignment with program objectives & community priorities.
    • Facilitate participatory approaches such as Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) & community action planning.
    • Contribute to Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) interventions, in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
    • Support livelihood diversification activities, including climate smart agriculture, small business support & market linkages.
    • Assessment, analysis & learning:
    • Conduct basic market assessments & Value Chain Analysis (VCA) to inform program design.
    • Monitor resilience & livelihood indicators & document lessons learned & good practices.
    • Contribute to food security analysis, including use of indicators such as Food Consumption Score (FCS) where relevant.
    • Coordination & safeguarding:
    • Coordinate with local authorities, community based organisations & implementing partners.
    • Ensure that gender equality, conflict sensitivity, protection, inclusion & Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) are integrated throughout program design & implementation.
    • Project reporting    
    • This role reports to the line manager.

    Key competencies    

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in development studies, agriculture, environmental science, economics or a related field.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in resilience, livelihoods, food systems or community development in humanitarian or development contexts.
    • Experience in implementing FFA, CFA or CCA activities.

    Logistics Officer (Roster)

    Role objectives    

    • Supply chain & operations:
    • Support end to end Supply Chain Management (SCM), including planning, transport, warehousing, distribution & pipeline management.
    • Coordinate the movement & storage of Core Relief Items (CRI) & other commodities from distribution warehouses to field locations.
    • Maintain & update stock records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or equivalent inventory tools.
    • Support transport planning & fleet management using Transport Management Systems (TMS) & other tracking tools.
    • Coordinate humanitarian cargo through appropriate transport modality like air transport, road transport, sea / ocean freight & / or river or barge transport where relevant.
    • Compliance, quality & vendor management:
    • Support procurement processes including Requests For Quotation (RFQ) & Requests For Proposal (RFP) for transport & warehousing services.
    • Ensure compliance with International Commercial Terms (INCOTERMS) & local customs & import / export regulations.
    • Apply Good Distribution Practices (GDP) & other Good “X” Practices (GXP) when managing food, medical or temperature sensitive cargo.
    • Contribute to the development & use of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as on time delivery, loss / damage rates & utilisation.
    • Coordination & reporting:
    • Coordinate with the logistics cluster, UN agencies, NGOs & national authorities as required.
    • Prepare movement plans, stock reports & situation updates for internal & external stakeholders.
    • Support contingency planning & pre positioning of stocks ahead of seasonal or anticipated shocks.
    • Project reporting    
    • This role reports to the line manager.

    Key competencies    

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, engineering or a related field.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience (opportunities for higher years’ experience also exists) in logistics or supply chain operations.
    • Minimum of three years of experience working in humanitarian or emergency settings.
    • Experience in warehousing, transport, fleet management, port operations or similar.
