    Real Estate Investment Advisor

    Job Details

    Key Responsibilities.

    • Investor sourcing & conversion –prospect, engage and secure a minimum of 5 new investors per month who sign contracts and pay a deposit
    • Investment advise – listen carefully to investor goals, risk appetite, funding plans and timelines, then recommend properties that align with their medium and long term wealth objectives.
    • Research & market intelligence – track local, regional and global real estate trends, spot emerging opportunities, generate regular market insights and convert them into compelling investor pitches.
    • Financing solutions – recommend tailored financing options ( mortgage, cash payment, equity release) and provide a one stop shop for the investor’s end to end real estate needs.
    • Relationship management – maintain ongoing relationships with prospects and clients while regularly updating them on market opportunities and create trust based long term partnership that lead to repeat investment and referrals.
    • Innovative structure – propose out of the box investment solutions to attract diverse investor segment including diaspora, institutions, individuals and family offices
    • Communication and presentation – deliver high impact elevator pitches at events, forums and private meetings supported by visually compelling investment presentations.

    Marketing Manager

    Job Details

    Key Responsibilities.

    • Story telling – document, develop and articulate compelling Centum Re stories about our track record, investment solutions, gaps and market insights to attract investors.
    • Investor education – plan, develop and create content that educates and informs potential investors on the advantages of real estate investments especially focusing on passive income and wealth creation. 
    • Brand awareness – ensure 9 out of 10 people in Kenya with internet connected devices have interacted with the Centum Re brand while browsing through internet and various social media platforms.
    • Lead generation – plan, craft and organize daily and weekly marketing activities across all channels (social media, digital marketing, website among others) to generate +1,200 leads of prospective investors.
    • Campaign management – develop and execute creative, out of the ordinary marketing campaigns that stand out in the market and resonate with prospective investors seeking real estate opportunities.
    • Market research – undertake data and facts driven marketing initiatives. Undertake research to continuously refine strategies and ensure the business is competitive.
    • Digital engagement – leverage social media, digital platforms and existing company digital platforms to actively engage with the audience, create valuable interactions, generate interest and foster a strong community relationship.
    • Content creation – partner, develop and oversee the creation of content (videos, blogs, webinars, newsletters, investment guide) that communicate Centum RE opportunities, construction progress and market insights to the public.
    • Partnerships and collaboration – maintain existing, nurture and build new strategic partnerships with key keyholders to amplify Centum RE brand visibility and marketing efforts.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • 5 years’ experience in a marketing role, with a strong track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, particularly in real estate or related industries.
    • Exceptional storytelling abilities with the skill to craft persuasive and engaging content.
    • Demonstrated success in driving brand awareness and lead generation using digital channels.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, social media platforms, SEO, and content marketing.
    • Ability to research and present facts in a compelling, easy-to-understand format for investors.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • A can-do attitude, drive, and determination to succeed.
    • Minimum KCSE B+ and a Bachelor’s Degree (Second Upper) in marketing, communications, or related field.

    Finance Operations Manager

    Job Details

    Key Responsibilities.

    • Financial Operations and Reporting
      • Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable and inventory
      • General ledger accounting including prepayments, accruals, payroll accounting & tax accounting 
      • Accurate Revenue reporting by ensuring compliance to revenue recognition as per signed contracts recorded in CRM both for IFRS reporting and management reporting
      • Timely & accurate month end financial books’ closure 
      • Preparation of management & statutory financial reports including variance analysis, KPIs and relevant insightful commentaries
      • Preparation of financial forecasts including the primary financial statements
    • Cash flow & Treasury management 
      • Oversee all daily finance operations, ensuring liquidity for ongoing projects and corporate needs 
      • Maintain strict cashflow discipline, liaising with the Collections Officer for collections and the business teams for payments
      • Forecast, monitor and report operational cash flow positions weekly, identifying risks and proposing corrective actions.
      • Manage working capital to optimize use of own cash, customer deposits and bank financing.
    • Project finance and cost control 
      • Supervise project accountants across all developments, currently these being Nairobi, Vipingo & Entebbe and ensure budget discipline
      • Track project costs and margins against approved budgets, initiating corrective measures when variances arise
      • Review and recommend for approval project payment certificates only after verifying progress and budget alignment.
    • Compliance and reporting 
      • Ensure full statutory compliance in line with IFRS and local reporting standards.
      • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns (VAT, corporate tax, payroll taxes).
      • Maintain compliance with all debt covenants, submitting accurate lender reports on time.
    • Governance, risk and audit
      • Implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and prevent leakages.
      • Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
      • Maintain a risk register for finance operations, escalating significant issues promptly.

    Requirements

    Core competencies & Qualifications:

    • Minimum 8 years progressive finance experience, with at least 4 years in real estate development, construction, or other capital-intensive sectors.
    • Demonstrate experience in multi-project finance operations with complex funding structures.
    • Strong understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting frameworks.
    • Proven track record in cashflow optimization, debt covenant compliance, and cost control.
    • Commercial acumen - deep understanding of real estate cash cycles, project financing, and profitability drivers.
    • Analytical rigour - advanced excel and financial modeling skills, with ability to turn numbers into actionable insights.
    • Demonstrate experience working with a large ERP.
    • Execution focus -  ability to deliver under high pressure, balancing multiple priorities.
    • Stakeholder management - skilled in liaising with banks, investors, contractors, auditors, and regulators.
    • Leadership - ability to lead and mentor finance teams, fostering accountability and performance excellence.
    • Minimum KCSE B+ and a Bachelor’s Degree (Second Upper)  degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent required.
