Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, th e job holder will provide overall management and coordination of the Liaison Department. The job holder will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the development, implementation and review of policies, standards, guidelines and procedures on film production, liaison and location services;
- Establishing linkages and networks with film studios and facility houses;
- Initiating analysis of the technical factors influencing film-makers in their choice of destinations for production and post-production services;
- Initiating development of strategies to attract potential customers/investors to Kenya’s locations and productions facilities;
- Promoting and facilitating the development of local content;
- Liaising with film producers to identify suitable locations for film shooting;
- Providing advice on permission rights and clearance for film makers and producers;
- Coordinating location services enquiries for film makers and producers;
- Facilitating access to production facilities, location, crew and shooting spaces;
- Monitoring and keeping abreast of changing trends in film production and exploring new opportunities for location services; and
- Liaising with Corporate Communications and ICT Departments to update the Commission website.
The successful candidate must have:
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant work experience, five (5) of which should have been in a management position;
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: - Film Production, Communication, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognizedinstitution;
- Master’s degree in any of the following fields: - Film Production, Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Be a member of a professional body where applicable;
- Certificate in Management course lasting not less four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
- Proficiency in computer applications;
- Demonstrate a high degree of professional competence, managerial and administrative capability as reflected in work performance and results, and

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the job holder will provide organizational analysis and design formulation, periodic review and implementation of HR policies recruitment and selection, training and development, performance appraisal, career and succession planning development, separation and employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee industrial relations and performance management.
The job holder will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that all employment practices, compensation, employee benefits, and human resources programs are within established standards, procedures, guidelines, and policies of KFC and labor laws;
- Facilitating periodic review and update of Human Resources policies and procedures in line with changes in the regulatory and labor environment;
- Coordinating development, implementation and review of performance management system;
- Coordinating staff training and development programmes;
- Coordinating the human resources planning process including staff recruitment and selection process for the organization;
- Managing the process of staff appointments, which includes issuance, renewal and termination of contracts;
- Developing and managing staff welfare schemes such as Group Personal Life and accident, and medical insurance schemes;
- Ensuring that the organization maintains a compensation and benefits package that is internally equitable and externally competitive within its ability to pay;
- Ensuring provision of administrative support, which includes maintenance of personnel records, payroll administration;
- Ensuring that KFC maintains good employee and industrial relations through well managed staff welfare schemes, a healthy and safe working environment, effective management of disciplinary and grievance issues, and effective communication processes;
- Coordinating work related counselling and stress management services for staff;
- Preparing and controlling Human Resource budgets;
- Coordinating allocating and ensuring prudent utilization of office space;
- Coordinating provision of general administrative services including messenger services, transport/logistics and security;
- Investigating all security incidents and liaising with relevant security agents;
- Participating in the development and implementation of the Commission’s strategic plan;
- Acting as a change management catalyst within the Commission; including career development, and succession management.
The successful candidate must:
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant work experience, five (5) of which should have been in a management position;
- Have Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Have Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Be registered with the Institute of Human Resource Management;
- Have a Valid Practicing License;
- Have a Certificate Management Course lasting not less four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
- Be Proficient in computer application skills; and
- Have demonstrated professional competence and administrative capability as reflected in work performance and results; and
- Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

- Overseeing development, implementation and review of communication strategies, programs and policies;
- Publicizing the organization’s activities;
- Editing and production of the organization’s newsletters, magazines and brochures;
- Coordinating development and management of information, education and communication materials;
- Managing Media Information Service;
- Facilitating press conferences, official functions, visits, seminars, workshops, public relations exhibitions and other organizational social events;
- Preparing speeches, briefs, press supplements, press statements, news releases and feature articles;
- Collaborating with media houses for coverage of the organization’s events;
- Managing matters of corporate interest and corporate social responsibility programs;
- Ensuring a positive corporate image of the Commission;
- Coordinating research and development on emerging issues related to corporate communication; and
- Preparing corporate communication reports and briefs.
The successful candidate must have:
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant work experience, five (5) of which should have been in a management position;
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: - Communication, Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Journalism, Mass Communications or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Master’s degree in any of the following fields: - Communication, Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Journalism, Mass Communications or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Membership to a relevant professional body;
- Proficiency in computer applications;
- Demonstrated merit and ability in work performance and results; and

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the officer will be responsible for marketing the Kenya Film Industry both locally and internationally. The officer will also be responsible for:
- Initiating development, implementation and review of marketing plans, policies, strategies, guidelines, standards and procedures;
- Coordinating development, promotion and marketing of the film industry in the local and international markets;
- Promoting and marketing Kenya locally and internationally as a filming destination;
- Managing the creation and planning of marketing campaigns for the film industry;
- Formulating and implementing promotional and advertising strategies in liaison with distributors, film studios and filmmakers;
- Liaising with local and foreign producers and distributors for marketing and promotion of film industry;
- Coordinating market research on current trends in the film industry;
- Promote preference and demand for local productions among Kenyan audiences;
- Coordinating organization of festivals and events to market and celebrate the Kenyan film industry and
- Coordinating monitoring of the digital media and editorial calendar to ensure content is timely, relevant and engaging.
The successful candidate must have:
- A minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant work experience, five (5) of which should have been in a management position;
- Have Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Marketing, Business Administration/Management, Finance, Commerce or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Have Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Marketing, Business Administration/Management, Finance, Commerce Strategic Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Be a member of a professional body where applicable;
- Be Proficient in computer applications;
- Demonstrated a high degree of professional competence, managerial and administrative capability as reflected in work performance and results; and
- Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
An attractive remunerative package, commensurate to qualifications, experience and responsibilities and in line with government guidelines will be offered to the successful applicant. The appointment is on a Five (5) years contract renewable subject to satisfactory performance.
