Admission and Discharge Officer at Valley Hospital

Qualifications:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in a Business-related course. 
• Experience: At least two years previous experience in a health- care setting, particularly in admissions, discharge planning, or patient services, is highly desirable.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with patients, families, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
• Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is important. 
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation are also essential skills for this role.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills are needed to establish rapport with patients and families, collaborate with healthcare team members, and resolve conflicts or concerns effectively.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer software and Erp's for data entry, record-keeping, and communication is necessary.
