    Analyst, IT Delivery Governance

    To support the IT Delivery Governance Lead to aggregate, consolidate and report Portfolio management information across all the organisational areas within Group Information Technology. Providing assistance on performance delivery metrics, analysing performance /delivery risk and governance data and ultimately the portfolio reporting to inform strategic decision making. Creating and maintaining an aggregated view of all programmes and their priorities per portfolio including reporting on Signature Programmes and Epics. Works closely with the Investment Portfolio Management team and PPM Lead to provide support as and when required

    Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

    • Aggregate, consolidate and report Portfolio management information across all domains in Group Information Technology
    • Produce a fact base by aggregating and consolidating identified portfolio management information reported by the individual domain signature reporting; nWoW (incl. Epic reporting);Integrated planning; agile Portfolio Office monthly packs; any other reporting that will be required per portfolio.
    •  Analyse reports and ensure that the correct information is reflected and insights defined for relevant stakeholders.
    •  Interpret and maintain the aggregated view of programmes that are underway including overall programme view and cross functional constraints.
    •  Build relationships with PPM Leads, IT Governance and Business Information (COO) teams to ensure all required reports are produced and required changes are made to relevant toolsets (e.g. Qlikview) are understood.
    •  Participate in discussions with PPM leads to understand each portfolio and raise relevant risks and concerns.
    • Identify cross-functional risks, issues & opportunities and facilitate operational decision making to develop plans that can be successfully executed with the resources available.
    •  Ensure that Agile Portfolio Office reporting SharePoint site is updated and relevant with all reports and that relevant access is provided to stakeholders.
    • Provide management information and insights contributing to the optimisation and efficiency of portfolio management on an aggregated Group Information Technology level
    • Develop and maintain a consolidated view of resource capacity (fixed and variable) facilitating key resourcing management decisions.
    •  Check and track delivery of cross functional teams to make sure prioritisation are adhered to.
    •  Attend relevant guilds to obtain knowledge of different areas and if any processes with in the Agile PO needs to be reviewed and changed.
    • Improve and maintain/manage standards, controls and frameworks
    • Ensure a clear understanding with regards to the Agile Portfolio Office Governance framework and principles.
    •  Ensure the effective implementation of relevant standards and controls to ensure that reporting is done correctly.
    •  Undertake appropriate action to ensure implementation, maintenance and enhancement of suitable governance and assurance processes.
    •  Ensure that business partners and team members understand and adhere to agreed governance and assurance procedures.
    • Contribute to Portfolio Management in Group Information Technology and the effective functioning of the Agile Portfolio Office
    • Create, update and publish monthly Agile Portfolio Office calendar with relevant information.
    •  Update Kanban Boards with relevant information for all portfolios and within the Agile Portfolio Office team.
    •  Prepare for relevant meetings and ensure that action items are addressed and feedback is provided at relevant forums.
    •  Assist in the creation of Agile Portfolio Office Accelerate days and driving out these initiatives.
    • Assist with AdHoc requirements from COO
    • Provide assistance to COO with regards to adhoc requests that arise administration assistance to be provided in sessions were IT Governance and Group Governance will not provide sectorial services.
    •  Create, update and publish monthly COO calendar with relevant information.
    •  Update Kanban Boards with relevant information for all portfolios within the COO maintaining of the COO 90 day plan.
    •  Understand COO Manco governance i.e. weekly stand-ups, monthly Gemba walks and Quarterly deep dive sessions.
    •  Create, update and publish weekly and monthly specific COO reports:
    •  Consolidated report for the COO Manco Conversation sessions.
    • Preferred Qualification and Experience
    • First Degree – IT  and Computer Sciences
    • 3 to 7 years’ working  experience
    • IT -Experience in integrated planning and good problem solving skills
    • Stakeholder management skills, Strong relationships within IT. Ability to quickly resolve possible issues and work under pressure. Technically understanding of systems and risk
    • Deep understanding of business strategy, priorities, and processes.
    • Project Delivery or a related field

    • The ability to develop a long term vision for the utilisation of IT based systems by the bank to modernise the work methods and improve efficiency and response times for different functions. Applies concepts without requiring supervision, able to provide technical guidance when required
