Key Responsibilities

• Embrace and uphold Angama food philosophy and style with total commitment
• Cultivate a kitchen environment that exudes calmness, flexibility and fun and where feeding our guests is a joy, not merely a job
• Maintain the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and equipment maintenance
• Perform general cleaning tasks as directed, including sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and rubbish disposal, ensuring adherence to waste management protocols
• Operate dishwashing machinery proficiently, maintaining a hygienic working environment in alignment with hygiene regulations and company standards
• Aid Cooks and Butlers as required, fostering a collaborative work environment
• Collect and dispose of trash from all areas of operation following established procedures

Key qualifications

• Have prior experience working in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Possess formal culinary training or equivalent experience in food preparation and kitchen operations
