Credit Controller at P.M Renaissance

Description

• The Credit Controller will primarily manage debts of the company, conducting credit checks on new customers, resolving problems in relation to invoice payments, and reconciling complex month-end accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor credit control System in collaboration with sales and marketing, finance and executive team members
• Establish policies that follow customer service best practices while ensuring that customers submit payments on time
• Check customer credit reports, authorize or deny credit sales applications and communicate decisions to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Maintain credit Sales Records, conduct regular analysis of the credit-control system and implement changes as needed to reduce bad debts
• Report any payment issues to management or the appropriate team
• Follow up on overdue invoices and payments and implement company collection procedures as necessary
• Develop strategies to improve debt collection processes
• Liaise with sales team and customers.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Finance, Accounting or any related fields
• Minimum three (3) years of experience with working knowledge of account receivables/reconciliation and debt recovery.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good business acumen for problem solving
• Competency with large ERP systems
• Confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
• Excellent interpersonal skills
