Digital Media Coordinator at Ghandour Cosmetics Ltd

Purpose of Job

• The Digital Media Support is responsible to support the Digital Media Manager, especially as Website Developer and handler for both back-end and front-end development for Wordpress and Wix, including creating new pages, new functions, update WooCommerce shop and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the colour and font choices, and so on). This role consists of taking charge of the website and e-commerce platforms - content, developing, maintaining and customer support for feedback, enquiries, orders, payment and deliveries.
• The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with the responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.

Principal Accountabilities/Main Functions

• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
• Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings
• Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materials
• Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts
• Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
• Efficiently communicate with other marketing professionals to align goals
• Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy
• Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts, press, newsletters and page descriptions
• Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
• Take charge of day-to-day e-commerce functioning on all digital platforms from order to delivery /customer support, processes and requirements
• Key Performance Criteria of Position
• New lead generation and upward traffic to website and social media pages
• Google Business increased SEOs for increased online awareness
• Insights for E-commerce business growth/ continuous improvement with high Channel Interaction within both following and non-following demography.
• High success rate with order to delivery process on all e-commerce platforms, with satisfactory customer support

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Media and Communications
• Qualified by Experience (QBE)

Skills

• Understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
