Driver II -7 Posts at The Social Health Authority (SHA)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Three (3) years’ cumulative work experience at the grade of Driver III or a comparable position in the public or private sector
• KCSE mean grade D (plain) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent;
• Valid driving license free from any current endorsements(s) for classes of the vehicles the driver is required to drive;
• Passed Occupational Trade Test III for Drivers;
• Defensive Driving Certificate from recognized institution;
• Refresher Driving course lasting not less than one week from a recognized institution;
• Certificate of Good Conduct (renewable after one (1) year);
• Certificate in First Aid lasting not less than one (1) week 
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
• Meet the provision of Chapter Six of Constitution

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle;
• Keeping up to date work tickets for vehicles;
• Cleaning of the assigned motor vehicle;
• Submitting regular reports on motor vehicle assigned;
• Reporting any mechanical/accident problems; and
• Proper mechanical working condition of the vehicle.
