    Reports to: HR Manager

    Supervisory Responsibilities: 

    • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions across the Hospital.

    • Staff Recruitment
    • Staff Training & Development
    • Continuous Improvement

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
    • Ensure effective implementation of HR Policies and Procedures by providing counselling to Unit Heads and employees.
    • Maintain accurate and proper filing of employee documentation both in electronic and hard copy format.
    • Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
    • Create and implement effective onboarding process.
    • Perform administrative role by developing contract terms for new hires, promotions, transfers, leave letters and working on other staff requests.
    • Work closely with Unit Heads, Supervisors and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
    • Work with Unit Heads and Supervisors to identify training needs for their units; participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success; follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly reports according to required standards.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience:

    • A degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent in related field
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR/ Administration within a corporate setting
    • Knowledge of the Ghana Labour Laws and possession of insight to the labor process.
    • HR Analytics skills and experience with the use of HRIS will be an added advantage.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
