    HR Manager

    Job Description

    Main duties:

    • Responsible for providing Line Managers with the professional tools and support needed to manage their employees effectively. Key goal is to find, recruit, motivate, develop and retain qualified employees

    Key responsibilities:

    • Be an effective team-member of the local management team to ensure that the site managers have the tools and support needed to manage their employees effectively. Provide effective guidance and support to line managers in all areas of people management, including disciplinary and grievance handling.
    • Integrate and implement (corporate and local) HR policies and strategies.
    • Manage local employee communication and employee relations. Participate in Collective Labour Agreement Negotiations with the Union.
    • Advise and implement local HR compensation and benefits structure. Assist with the implementation of the global job evaluation project.
    • Responsible for accurate HR and payroll administration, including providing HR metric and headcounts upon request.
    • Observing the relevant labour and social law and implementing policy changes as a result of this. Stay up-to-date with new HR practices and trends in the country.
    • Ensure proper and efficient procedures in the areas of recruitment, training and development.
    • Assist with maintenance of the performance management system, including the annual reviews.
    • Support local talent management, including personal development plans and succession plans for the key management positions.
    • Manage the social outreach and corporate social responsibility programs

    Requirements
    Education and Experience:

    • Manufacturing experience is a must 
    • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
    • A minimum of five years of human resource management experience preferred.
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
