    Human Resources Specialist

    Job Overview

    • We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Specialist to join our team in Ghana. We are looking for someone who is passionate about People and delivering excellent operational support and not least will be excited about the opportunity to be part of a local and Global People team. The role evolves around transactional and operational tasks and will focus on proactively co-building and delivering an extraordinary People Lifecycle experience which in this role will have its emphasis on excellent human resource operations, structure, processes, coordination, People administration, support of People team, continuous improvement, and servicing key stakeholders.

    Responsibilities of Human Resources Specialist

    •  Assist with end-to-end recruitment, on-boarding, and off-boarding process
    • Planning and dialogue with hiring managers, candidates, and new hires on interview process, start dates, rejections, offers, contracts, and onboarding
    • Publishing new roles on relevant platforms
    • Assist with offers and contracts
    • Collaborate with and update our Payroll Team on changes
    • Secure data flow and updates in Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
    • Work in conjunction with People HRIS Lead specialist to build and continuously enhance HR processes and Policies
    • Assist with global mobility and relocation (new hires, international moves, visas, permits,relocation)
    • Maintain employee records, incl starters, leavers, and org. setup in HRIS
    • Assist with general People communication incl. preparations of presentations
    • Assist with publishing content to our exiting new intra web solution
    • Support ad hoc Global and local People projects
    • Collaborate with Global People Function
    • Help implement Global processes when relevant
    • Develop and implement relevant local policies and procedures

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of (5 +) years relevant experience in Human Resource management role required
    • Relevant educational background at BA/BSc level or similar required
    • Good understanding of Ghana's Labor Laws

    Key Skills and Knowledge

    • A strong understanding of People Lifecycle processes and the administrative support needed for these are critical and required
    • Experience working with cloud based HRIS system, People data build and data maintenance is critical and required
    • Experience with offers and contracts support
    • Experience with Global Mobility and relocation support
    • A love for structure, systems, and detail
    • A desire to lead processes and projects when relevant
    • Thrive working independently and proactively help build our People function from scratch
    • The ability to handle and maintain a high-level of confidentiality, integrity and common sense regarding sensitive information is a must
    • Love working in a team and at the same time working in a remote global and diverse working environment
    • Great people-management skills
    • Excellent communication skills -oral and written
