Ensuring compliance with local (all the countries we are in), national, and industry-specific laws.
Advising on legal risks and mitigating liabilities.
Representing the company in legal matters.
Overseeing litigation and liaising with external legal counsel.
Developing internal policies to minimize risks.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from a recognized institution and admission to the Bar.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in the recruitment or HR services industry.
Registered member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) in good standing.
In-depth knowledge of employment and labor laws, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance within the recruitment industry.
Proven experience in contract drafting, legal risk management, dispute resolution, and providing strategic legal counsel to senior management
