    Light Cargo Sales Specialist

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and expand the sanitary ware customer base while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients in the region.
    • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, regional demand trends, and competitor activities.
    • Gather and analyze information on competing products, providing timely reports and actionable insights.
    • Supervise and manage product displays in customer exhibition halls to ensure effective presentation and brand visibility.
    • Monitor and support the production capacity and product availability within the assigned region.
    • Address and resolve customer after-sales concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Consistently achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to overall departmental goals.
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, Finance/Accounting, or any related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in sales, preferably within the building materials industry (tiles, sanitary ware, toilets, wash basins, etc.).
    • Strong understanding of regional sales dynamics and customer relationship management.

    Key Competencies & Skills

    • Fluent in both written and spoken English (knowledge of Kiswahili and local languages is an added advantage).
    • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with data analysis tools.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
    • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
    • Flexible to work Monday–Saturday and comfortable with extensive field work.
