The successful applicant will have a solid understanding of marketing and communications, especially digital channels, be keen to deepen knowledge and develop further within the role.
The role has scope for the successful candidate to truly make their mark and be provided with the opportunity to work in a dynamic team and working environment.
Responsibilities
Manage Kofa’s social media presence, including promotion of Kofa’s projects, events as well as relevant industry related news.
Support and manage the Kofa brand in line with its brand guidelines and brand archetypes.
Execute marketing strategies to bring them to life by working with internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain Kofa’s website.
Undertake email communications for Kofa based on the plan and manage the timetable and content production and collation, including for Kofa’s local networks.
Project manage communications outputs as required (liaising with graphic designers, video editors etc).
Measure and report on the performance of our digital presence.
Work with the wider communications team to identify content opportunities and produce the relevant materials, including management of the Kofa’s blog/newsletter pipeline.
Identify digital trends and evaluate emerging technologies wherever possible.
Support the Sales and Marketing team in all aspects of the team’s work as required.
Requirements
Relevant undergraduate degree in marketing, digital communications, media, public relations, English or a related field; or comparable experience with 1-3 years’ experience working in a marketing and communications team.
Proven experience of delivering successful integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution.
Ability to think creatively and critically about multimedia content whilst ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
A desire to learn and develop Marketing & Communication skills and techniques.
Work well independently and in teams.
Fluent English language skills required.
Local (Ghanaian) language skills are highly desirable.
