Job Purpose Statement

The Network Administrator is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and securing the bank’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and availability. The role supports both on-premise and cloud-based environments, safeguards connectivity, and enables seamless communication across the business. It demands expertise in LAN/WAN technologies, firewalls, switches, routing protocols, and network monitoring tools to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.

Job Specifications

Academic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Professional Certifications (Added Advantage):

• CCNA / CCNP / CCIE
• ITIL Certification
• Security certifications such as CISM / CISSP (preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in network administration in a medium to large organization.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar networking solutions.
• Exposure to cloud networking (Azure/AWS) is desirable.
• Prior experience in banking or financial services is an added advantage.
