The hospital was started in 1909 by the Church of Scotland. It is owned and governed by the Presbyterian Church of East Africa. It is located in the Central Highlands of Kenya between the Aberdares Range and Mount Kenya 130 Km (80 Miles) North of Nairobi at altitude of 5,900ft. It is a 203 bed hospital and provides holistic health care.

Obstetrics/gynecologist consultant – Resident
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification BA/BSc/HND , MBA/MSc/MA
- Experience 2 years
- Location Nairobi
- Job Field Medical / Healthcare
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB).
- Master of Medicine in Gynecology and Obstetrics from a recognized institution
- Registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
- Specialist Recognition by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
- Knowledge and interest in Laparoscopy will be an added advantage
- Subspecialty training is an added advantage.
- A valid medical practicing license.
- Professional insurance indemnity cover.
- At least two (2) years of working experience as an Obs/Gyn in a reputable hospital will be added advantage.
- Excellent Public Relations skills and communication skills.
- Computer skills.
- Fellowship training in Gynae- oncology from a recognized institution
