The goal of the Partnership Coordinator is to act as a full-time liaison between our organization and those that we partner with.
In addition to managing existing relationships, this person will also seek out new opportunities to expand our reach and deepen our impact through additional partnerships.
On an average day, this will include overseeing communications with partners through emails, newsletters, phone calls, and marketing materials (graphics, social media posts, etc.), and staying up to date on the technology space and gender empowerment initiatives in Ghana.
This person is expected to have excellent communication and organization skills and maintain a demonstrated interest in the work Soronko does.
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage relationships with all partners and ensure that both Soronko’s needs and the partner’s needs are being met
Regularly review and analyze data on partnership outcomes and identify opportunities to improve existing partnerships
Maintain a deep understanding of key players in the Ghanaian technology and gender empowerment spaces and find opportunities to establish new partnerships
Maintain an internal database of partners and potential partners and the nature of Soronko’s relationship with them
Draft strategic communications, such as mass emails, newsletters, infographics, social media posts, and event recaps to keep partners engaged and well informed
Represent Soronko well and demonstrate the value of partnering with the organization, also writing a proposal to create pipelines to linkages to key players in the tech ecosystem
Represent Soronko Academy at career fairs both in person and virtually,conferences, to network and interact with students and educate them about our courses and programs and careers in the tech space.
Lay the groundwork for new partnerships by coordinating initial logistics between new partners and Soronko (i.e., event planning, communications, organizing necessary supplies and resources)
Work on landing remote opportunities and long-term job opportunities for Soronko Students & Alumni
Oversee partnership budgets (if applicable)

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree/HND in a related field
Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in the non-profit space
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
