    Product Service Specialist - Underground Mining

    About The Job

    Purpose of the Role:

    • Provide professional technical service support for Underground Mining (UMR) customers and Epiroc personnel.
    • Promote Customer-Value and a Customer-Care driven culture.
    • Perform training programs in cooperation with Technical Services Manager for Epiroc service and customers in order to become best service in the industry
    • Maintain a close relationship with customers, Service operation Manager and Business Line Manager Parts and Service Division (BLM PSD) to coordinate customer service strategies
    • Manage and protect the Company's assets
    • Support functions and processes in proactive way to service business in order to ensure excellent customer service, service order processing, minimize the working capital of the company and by that to grow our market share and achieve sustainable profitable growth

    Responsibilities & Expectations:

    • Reporting to the Service Operation Manager
    • Actively participate on the daily URE service field &workshop activities
    • Performs highest quality of maintenance and repair work in the field and workshop
    • Participate in start - up and commissioning of new delivered equipment
    • Perform the trainings for customer staff (operators and technicians) including charged trainings
    • Cooperation with PSD marketing & Technical Services
    • Provides expert appraisal for customers and for the other departments of the company, by performing visits, presentations, by taking part to meetings, interventions or by providing information, documents, software, etc;
    • Support customers service personnel during equipment system troubleshooting solving the difficult problems
    • Cooperation with Product Company (PC) new projects implementation ( designing process, testing and introduction)
    • Provides technical information within the scope of his job dedication
    • Improves the relations with the existing customers and support to build a new customer contacts
    • Identifies the customers' needs and expectations through direct discussions, and offers them the best service and technical support quality
    • Follow measures for environment protection and complies with the specific policies and procedures settled by the customers;

    Uses the company assets in an efficient and cost conscious way;

    • To follow internal procedures or other internal rules applicable to this position.
    • Actively use system or application for monitoring fleet machines (e.g. Fleetsync)
    • Identifies the customers' needs and expectations through direct discussions, and offers solutions by daily and directly contact with the Customer.
    • Providing information to Customer as
    • Observed failures, malfunctions operated machines
    • Made repairs, inspections.
    • Spare parts recommendation and forecasting
    • Auditing machines as required.
    • Skills transfer to the customers technicians
    • Perform other tasks assigned by the Service Operation Manager
    • Be responsible for compliance with internal procedure "Code of Conduct"

    Requirements
    Knowledge and Experience:

    • University Degree, preferably in a electro mechanical field or similar through experience or same gained by experience
    • Underground Mining, Construction and Technical experience including hydraulic, electric and engine systems
    • Working experience in Underground loaders, Face drilling machines, production drilling machines and Rock Reinforcement equipment Knowledge
    • Technical knowledge (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electric systems, etc);
    • Experience monitoring, trouble shooting, diagnosing of RCS
    • Basic knowledge of MS Office programs (in particular, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Reading technical documentation
    • Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
    • Assessing the technical condition of machines and devices using diagnostic equipment
    • The ability to use electric and hydraulic tools
    • The ability to use manual mechanical tools
    • Fluence in English and French good to have
