    Regional Digital Business Manager

    Job Summary

    • As Regional Digital Business Manager your mission will be to take the lead in all customer relations to fully understand their needs. 
    • You will need showcase innovation to further develop our portfolio and to meet customer’s needs. 
    • You will be required to ensure successful implementation and customer support across the Digital Solutions Portfolio.
    • We need you to strengthen our product and application knowledge base within the sales teams you support, act as a sales enabler to translate the value of our Epiroc Digital Solutions offering, design and lead a team of technology specialists that suits the unique needs of the customers and markets. 
    • You will need to ensure that the strategic digital priorities are aligned for the region.
    • The Regional Digital Business Manager will explore novel digital solutions that complement digital strategy, prioritizing scalable solutions on a regional or global basis. 
    • As the empowered P&L owner of the Digital business within your region, it is critical that you can attain these objectives in a lean and efficient way. 
    • Ensuring internal collaboration and satisfaction from the CC teams within your region is a defining measurement of success for this role.

    Job Description:

    • It all starts with people and in this role, there will be a key focus on People Leadership & Culture which will consist of a high focus on safety. 
    • You will need to be a role model and a visible ambassador for our company values and business code of conduct. 
    • You will develop a best in class and diversified team to secure leading global technology partner, be focused on people engagement and development. 
    • You will be empowered to execute front line decisions on behalf of the Division within their given mandates, enabling sales teams to work and respond to customers more quickly and thoroughly.
    • In partnership with regional sales teams and Business Line Managers, create an agile digital solutions strategy which meets the evolving needs of the business with regards to Digital Business Performance & Management:
    • As the Regional Digital Manager, you will also be responsible for the territory management strategy and target development for all business units within the region with your team, you will drive best-in-class technical product and mining application knowledge and support while acting as sales support and sales enabler for the customer centre sales teams as well as our end customers.

    Your profile:

    • To be successful in this role, we expect you to have a university degree in the relevant field. 
    • A Master of Business Administration degree or equivalent through experience
    • A minimum of 5 years' experience in mining related industries, with knowledge of software-related business models for mining industry segments and proven experience in driving digital development for complex global organizations is required. 
    • The Regional Digital Manager will have a high level of business acumen with an understanding of commercial initiatives, with experience bringing products to market. Familiarity with Epiroc's digital solutions and / or competitor digital solutions is an asset.
    • Furthermore, we expect you to have strong leadership skills including passion and courage and skills in building, engaging, and inspiring a team. 
    • You are a good communicator, and your leadership is inclusive and boosts engagement. 
    • You have experience in applying your change management skills in matrixed industrial organizations. 
    • You have a safety-first and collaboration mindset with a high ambition level and the ability to pivot quickly when given new data. 
    • We expect that you are an excellent negotiator with the ability to see the big picture and can influence stakeholders. 
    • You are "hands on", energized, and filled with passion and commitment to do things the right way without risking loss of business.

    Location and travel:

    • In any of our offices in West Africa Accra Ghana, Bamako Mali, Ouagadougou Burkina Faso or Abidjan Ivory Coast. 
    • Regional travel is required frequently, and occasional international traveling will be required.

    Product Service Specialist - Underground Mining

    About The Job

    Purpose of the Role:

    • Provide professional technical service support for Underground Mining (UMR) customers and Epiroc personnel.
    • Promote Customer-Value and a Customer-Care driven culture.
    • Perform training programs in cooperation with Technical Services Manager for Epiroc service and customers in order to become best service in the industry
    • Maintain a close relationship with customers, Service operation Manager and Business Line Manager Parts and Service Division (BLM PSD) to coordinate customer service strategies
    • Manage and protect the Company's assets
    • Support functions and processes in proactive way to service business in order to ensure excellent customer service, service order processing, minimize the working capital of the company and by that to grow our market share and achieve sustainable profitable growth

    Responsibilities & Expectations:

    • Reporting to the Service Operation Manager
    • Actively participate on the daily URE service field &workshop activities
    • Performs highest quality of maintenance and repair work in the field and workshop
    • Participate in start - up and commissioning of new delivered equipment
    • Perform the trainings for customer staff (operators and technicians) including charged trainings
    • Cooperation with PSD marketing & Technical Services
    • Provides expert appraisal for customers and for the other departments of the company, by performing visits, presentations, by taking part to meetings, interventions or by providing information, documents, software, etc;
    • Support customers service personnel during equipment system troubleshooting solving the difficult problems
    • Cooperation with Product Company (PC) new projects implementation ( designing process, testing and introduction)
    • Provides technical information within the scope of his job dedication
    • Improves the relations with the existing customers and support to build a new customer contacts
    • Identifies the customers' needs and expectations through direct discussions, and offers them the best service and technical support quality
    • Follow measures for environment protection and complies with the specific policies and procedures settled by the customers;

    Uses the company assets in an efficient and cost conscious way;

    • To follow internal procedures or other internal rules applicable to this position.
    • Actively use system or application for monitoring fleet machines (e.g. Fleetsync)
    • Identifies the customers' needs and expectations through direct discussions, and offers solutions by daily and directly contact with the Customer.
    • Providing information to Customer as
    • Observed failures, malfunctions operated machines
    • Made repairs, inspections.
    • Spare parts recommendation and forecasting
    • Auditing machines as required.
    • Skills transfer to the customers technicians
    • Perform other tasks assigned by the Service Operation Manager
    • Be responsible for compliance with internal procedure "Code of Conduct"

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • University Degree, preferably in a electro mechanical field or similar through experience or same gained by experience
    • Underground Mining, Construction and Technical experience including hydraulic, electric and engine systems
    • Working experience in Underground loaders, Face drilling machines, production drilling machines and Rock Reinforcement equipment Knowledge
    • Technical knowledge (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electric systems, etc);
    • Experience monitoring, trouble shooting, diagnosing of RCS
    • Basic knowledge of MS Office programs (in particular, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Reading technical documentation
    • Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
    • Assessing the technical condition of machines and devices using diagnostic equipment
    • The ability to use electric and hydraulic tools
    • The ability to use manual mechanical tools
    • Fluence in English and French good to have
