Production Planner and Controller at NFT Consult

Role Overview

Functional and objective of established Post.

• Coordinates the operative purchasing,production planning/scheduling & (Financial) controlling processes
• Pro-actively Supports the plant management's planning,steering and controlling capacities and costs at BBP Ke
• Pro-actively supports the plant management's planning,steering,and controlling of capacities and costs at BBP Ke.
• Pro-active continuous steering of the economic efficiency and profitability of BBP Ke by assisting the plant management in its decision-Making processes.

Major Duties and Competencies

General

• Directly analyzing and informing the superior incase of exceptional deviations (quality,time,costs)
• Business year planning.
• Excution of the annual planning processes of the CoE Pharmaceuticals (e.g 3-Step-Model,4-Sight-Planning,Investment Planning,Stock Planning)
• Business year Planning
• Development and execution of annual planning processes locally defined by BBP KE

Major duties and competences

Master Data Management

• Creation of planning and cost relevant master data (e.g. Bill of Materials,Routing,product calculations,Capacity Calculations
• Storage of Master data in Standardized Format
• Continuous review of master data quality and adaptation based on defined cycles

Production Planning

• Continuous monitoring of the Long-term demand of finished products with the available resource (e.g.Capacities,raw Materials)
• Translate the demand of finished products (Provided by SCM) into a mid-term production plan for the upcoming periods.
• Align the mid-term production plan based on the available resources (e.g capacities,raw materials) with SCM.
• Provide the mid-term production plan to production.

Production Scheduling

• Translate the mid-term production plan into a short-term production plan based on the available resourdes (e.g. capacities,raw materials).
• Align the short-term production plan based on the available resources (e.g.capacities,raw materials) with SCM.
• Provide the short-term production plan to production.
• Release of the production orders
• Confirmation of production orders.

Operative Purchasing

• Continous monitoring of the raw material stock.
• Calculation of raw material demands for production orders.
• Comparisonof raw materia demands,raw material stock and upcoming raw material deliveries to identify additional required purchase orders.
• Creation,execution and monitoring of Purchase orders.

(Financial) Production Controlling

• Development and implementation of KPIs together with plant management.
• Creation of monthly reports (e.g. Plant Performance Summary, Investment-Report, KPI-Report).
• Support the plant management to fulfill the required reporting duties.
• Operative controlling (e.g. cost, quantity, and process order controlling)
• Project Controlling

Project Management

• Participation in process optimizations (among other things, support of the OPEX-process at the site) and execution of projects.

Obligations

• Ensuring/Observing the "Code of Conduct" compliance regulations.
• Ensuring/Observing the organizational guidelines which are of relevance to the function and the scope of duties in agreement with the supervisor.
• Ensuring/Observing the operational and legal working time regulations.

Qualifications

• should have a degree in a Science subject with a module in Engineering, Maths,Statistics, or a Bcom with a CPA (K) or Economics Masters will be an added advantage.
• should have experience in ERP, operative purchasing, production planning and financial production controlling
• should have strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Should have excellent planning skills
• should be a pro-active individual with good time keeping and communication skills
• should have at least minimum of 5 years working experience and have worked in manufacturing set up.
