    Regional Service Sales Engineer

    Scope

    • The Regional Service Sales Engineer will establish sales objectives, obtain Request for Quotations, secure orders, establish and maintain a cordial relationship with clients and colleagues to drive sales and grow revenue.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Establish and maintain good relationships with clients as well as colleagues in different departments and entities.
    • Pay regular visits to customers on all levels to create new opportunities and follow up on offers.
    • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales budgets, projecting expected sales volume for existing products in close operation with regional manager.
    • Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability and customer satisfaction/loyalty.
    • Manage and oversee enquiries from clients.
    • Pursue long-term account strategy that maximizes profits by engaging partners to achieve goals.
    • Monitor RFQ submission requirements and deadlines.
    • Assist with service offer pricing or market price.
    • Frequently monitor competitor trends and pricing.
    • Prepare service offer analysis, costing and market price, orders lost and orders won.
    • Maintain the CRM system for customers and acquire new clients.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Marketing or in any related field of study.
    • A minimum of 5 years’ service experience in an engineering environment or similar role.
    • Extensive experience in sales and marketing.
    • Proficiency in English and German is an added advantage.
    • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
    • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Working knowledge in MS Office suite, SAP and other related software programs.
