Relief Manager – Forex Bureau at Summit Recruitment and Search

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in foreign exchange, cash handling, and customer service, with the ability to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the forex bureau in the absence of the Branch Manager.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) policies, and internal controls.
• Supervise staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to service standards.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Process forex transactions, including buying and selling foreign currency, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Verify customer identification and documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Detect and report any suspicious transactions as per AML regulations.

Key Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a forex bureau or financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of forex operations, currency exchange, and cash handling.
• Experience in customer service, sales, and compliance regulations.
• Must be flexible to travel across the branches within Nairobi.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
