The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing and designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence. The role will guide the company into a new era that entails recapturing and leveraging the dynamic aspects of the lodges, Camps and its market. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all Leisure accounts and Corporate for the properties in Tanzania
- Building and maintaining relationships with key trade partners as assigned.
- Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales.
- Represent the company various events and exhibitions.
- Conduct daily sales calls and arrange Fam trips for Leisure and corporate clients. Synergize client relationships and activities to optimize revenues.
- Develop and execute plan of sales activities to achieve all objectives outlined in the annual plan to exceed personal sales goals, monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Proactively develop relationships with local partners and establish a reputation for the group within the community.
- Ensure rate negotiations are within the established parameters.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required.
- Develop and implement quarterly action plans utilizing strategies and long term goals based on market and competitive intelligence. .
- Maintain active membership in industry related organizations
- Be an active member of the Revenue Management team to determine strategies to optimize revenue opportunities, and implement initiatives to drive revenue.
- Work closely with the unit General Managers and operational department to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Skillset/experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA may be beneficial but not required).
- Significant sales experience, preferably in the same industry, with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage, and coach a sales team effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present value propositions to clients and stakeholders.
- Competence in analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and developing effective sales strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to close deals and handle objections.
- Experience in managing customer relationships, improving satisfaction, and setting long-term business goals.
- Ability to adapt strategies, embrace new technologies, and collaborate effectively with teams and clients.
- Experience with Q-Lik software and sales analytics tools.
- Experience in managing sales budgets and forecasting revenue.

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of the clearing process for exports and the ability to manage transportation costs effectively. This role requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the movement of trucks from the port to neighboring countries within the EAC (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan).
- Coordinate the dispatch and delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
- Oversee the clearing and forwarding process for exports, ensuring compliance with all local and international regulations, including customs documentation and import/export duties.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and industry standards, including safety, environmental policies, and government regulations across different EAC countries.
- Develop, implement, and monitor transport cost control measures to optimize logistics operations.
- Analyze transportation costs and recommend ways to reduce expenses while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Liaise with customs officials, clearing agents, and other stakeholders involved in the import/export process.
Key Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transport and logistics management, with at least 3 years in a cross-border role within the EAC region.
- In-depth knowledge of the clearing and forwarding process for exports
- Proven experience in cost management and optimizing transportation efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of transport safety and environmental compliance regulations in the EAC region.

The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and providing support to the Finance Manager. They will also ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and prepared in compliance with company standards and accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Assist in processing and managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that invoices are paid on time and customer payments are processed efficiently.

- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Process forex transactions, including buying and selling foreign currency, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify customer identification and documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Detect and report any suspicious transactions as per AML regulations.
Key Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a forex bureau or financial institution.
