    Sales and Marketing representative

    Role Objective

    • We are looking to engage a proactive and results-oriented Sales and Marketing Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our market presence, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth particularly within the solar energy and cold chain sectors.We strongly encourage applications from residents of Turkana or candidates with prior working experience in the region.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the region
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and local stakeholders
    • Promote and position our products and services through outreach, demonstrations and activations
    • Support local marketing initiatives, campaigns and events
    • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
    • Conduct basic market research and provide feedback to support business development
    • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and marketing
    • Experience in the solar energy and/or cold chain industry is a strong advantage 
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
    • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
    • Familiarity with the Turkana region, its communities, and local business environment is highly preferred
