    Sales Executive

    About the job

    To ensure smooth distribution of the consumer products to the assigned retail outlets through maintenance of strong relationships with customers and efficient management of merchandisers and salesmen

    Execute In-Store Fundamentals

    • Ensure Transmed products are distributed and available on shelf across assigned stores in line with the brand’s core SKUs for each store.
    • Ensure Transmed products are shelved with the right visibility (shelf share) and planogram across assigned stores in line with the brand’s shelf share, planogram and placement guidelines.
    • Ensure all visibility elements (shelf shares, POSM, planogram etc...) are executed across assigned stores.
    • Execute Monthly Initiatives & Business Plans
    • Implement Monthly Initiatives across assigned stores On Time as per the set plan
    • Implement Monthly Initiatives across assigned stores as per brand guidelines and as per the set plan

    Build Customer Relationships

    • Provide superior customer service to assigned stores including proper coverage as per assigned journey plan.
    • Acquire deep understanding of the assigned stores’ strategies and their shopper needs in order to be able to devise the right execution for the store.
    • Spot business building opportunities in the assigned stores and recommend these to the team in order to address them and build the business further.
    • Build & maintain strong customer relation to facilitate collaboration and the achievement of desired business results

    Receivables Collection

    • Secure that receivables are collected across assigned stores within the agreed payment terms in order to sustain company's cash flow levels
    • Manage the Merchandisers
    • Manage the assigned merchandising team in terms of appearance, discipline, attendance and professionalism and ensure they deliver on their job responsibilities.
    • Manage the work schedule and leaves of the assigned merchandising team
    • Ensure the merchandisers are trained on the products and on the technical skills required to perform their daily duties.
    • Coach and motivate the merchandisers to deliver on their daily responsibilities tasks assigned to them.

    Market Intelligence & Competitive Reporting
    Communicate internally any event taken by customers/competitors which can have an impact on our business in order to take required action.

    • Graduate Degree in Marketing / Management and / or related field from leading University.
    • Fresh Graduates or 1 year experience in a related field

    To lead the category management team in developing & executing trade strategies and build programs within the portfolio of categories/brands they manage in order to increase company Sales and maximize profitability through efficient spending within these categories/brands.

    Team Management

    • Organizes and staffs the brand management team with adequate resources and talent in order to achieve the desired levels of Organizational Excellence.
    • Provides the brand management team with adequate training, coaching and mentoring in order to develop their brand management skills and ensure continuity and proper career paths.

    Suppliers Collaboration

    • Develops and maintains strong relationships with all suppliers through reviews, calls, and other connections in order to keep Transmed as the best business partner.
    • Manages the Advertising & Promotions budgets through negotiation with suppliers on payment terms, pricing, activities and other trading terms through joint business plan in order to maximize the company’s sales and profitability.

    Brand Management

    • Oversees the development and execution of the joint business plan for the team’s brands in order to focus the efforts and drive efficiency.
    • Oversees the spending of the A&P funds allocated to each brand in order to achieve target profitability and avoid misuse of funds.
    • Oversees the forecasting process of each assigned brand in order to ensure optimum stock levels.
    • Approves the brand marketing activities and development of in-store & POS material in order to ensure top quality execution and achieve brand image / equity objectives.
    • Analyzes brand Sales data and market share trends by channel and come up with meaningful conclusions and insights in order to develop the necessary marketing activities by channel.

    Communication with the Sales Team

    • Manages the process of the monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews with Sales leaders of different channels in order to communicate any updates and collect trade information.
    • Conducts frequent field visits and communicate observations to the Sales manager in order to ensure in-store execution of activities meets plans and brand strategy.
    • Ensures that the Sales team is provided with all the necessary brand knowledge, information and other necessary tools in order to help them deliver the desired in market execution.
    • Understands from Sales’ customer objectives and plans, and develops the necessary brand plans that fit the customer objectives in order to maximize Sales and secure customer’s support.

    Category & Shopper Understanding

    • Monitors the dynamics of the brand’s category through conducting field visits and requesting data from the field in order to develop the necessary activities. (Competitors, pricing, range, activities, etc.)
    • Monitors shopper needs, habits and trends with regards to the assigned brand in order to develop the necessary marketing activities.

    TM Purpose

    • Acts as a role model by living Transmed Purpose on a daily basis

    Academic Education & Professional Certification

    • BA Degree in Business Administration/Marketing from a reputable university
    • MBA is a plus

    Operational & Managerial Experience

    • 3 - 4 years of experience in brand management/ Sales managerial role
    • 2 - 3 years of Sales experience is a must
    • FMCG experience is a must
