    Sales Representative

    Job purpose

    • The Sales Representative is responsible for selling cement bags through the retail channel across a particular Region. In this role, you must develop and grow an active base of cement retailers either operating out of their own shops or containers.

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Visit all retailers within the assigned territory
    • Sell a target number of bags monthly through the retail channel
    • Brand a target number of retailers
    • Stay within the BTL budget target
    • Keep the retail price per bag within the target
    • Maintain high customer satisfaction among retailers
    • Supply management with reports on competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
    • Train Shop Attendants on Supacem products and basic bookkeeping.

    Qualifications

    • Experience building and/or managing retail channels
    • Experience recruiting and/ managing distributors
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Hardworking, persistent, and dependable
    • Positive and enthusiastic
    • Able to ride a motor bike
    • At least 1 year sales experience
    • Resides / willing to move to the Eastern region

    Working conditions

    • This job requires a person to work in a high-pressure role with massive expectations. It involves a disproportionate amount of work in the market with challenging clients and leading and motivating a high-performing retail sales team spread throughout Ghana.
