Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:

Person Specifications: For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have:

• Cumulative service period of six (6) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Planning Officer I or in a comparable position.
• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines; Economics, Project Planning and Management, Strategic Management, Business Administration, Management or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Membership to a relevant professional body, where applicable and in good standing.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Shown merit and ability in as reflected in work performance and results.

Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

• Participating in developing the Corporate Strategic Plan (CSP).
• Reviewing the Authority’s annual operating plan.
• Monitoring and evaluating PC performance indicators.
• Reviewing collected evidence for PC evaluation.
• Preparing quarterly and annual reports on the PC implementation.
• Preparing feedback to departments.
• Participating in developing Performance Contracts (PC).
