As a Services Inventory Control Specialist you will be for managing and optimizing the global product line asset utilization
As a for a Services Inventory Control Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Performing goods receipt according to the inventory management work instruction and perform goods issue and goods return.
- Updating all stock transactions in the inventory management tracker.
- Ensure tools and equipment are stored properly in the warehouse or in the yard laydown area.
- Ensuring good housekeeping and safety at all times in the warehouse and properly scan and file all documents according to the inventory management work instruction.
- Set minimum levels and re-order points for consumables and ensure expiry dates of elastomers are properly tracked and update the business when the expiry dates of items are almost due.
- Releasing goods to the workshop based on First In First Out (FIFO) or First Expired First Out (FEFO).
- Coordinating the loading out of goods to Rig/Vessel/FPSO and also the backload of these goods.
- Ensuring all outbound goods are accompanied by either a load out manifest or a waybill.
- Perform cycle count weekly and perform Annual Physical Inventory (API) and Fixed Assets counts yearly as instructed by the business.
- Ensure that Baker Hughes owned items are segregated from Customer owned items and rovide a monthly report of customer owned inventory
- Performing annual PI count ( 100 % accuracy )

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's from an accredited university or college or a High National Diploma.
- Have minimum 5 years experience in Supply Chain/ Inventory Management
- Be able to demonstrate experience or knowledge of SAP and MRP functionality
- Show good knowledge of manufacturing principles, concepts, theories and practices for blending and chemical synthesis for oilfield products.
- Show proficiency in SAP modules for purchasing management and product management and experience of MS Office Tools.
- Be a good team player and a proactive self-starter that is accountable and exhibits ownership.
- Have good oral and written communication skills
- Have a safety mindset
