    Technical Manager

    About The Job

    • Our client provides bespoke Information Technology (IT) solutions to organizations to meet their unique and distinct needs.

    Scope:

    • The Technical Manager will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Chief Technical Officer to drive the company’s strategy on service offering to clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Service Delivery Controller to ensure effective delivery, monitoring, and management of the company’s Technical Projects and Service Level Agreements with clients and sub-contractors.
    • Design and package innovative technological solutions from the Club of Partner Original Equipment Manufacturers, to offer to new and existing clients.
    • Liaise with the sales team and provide support in the design of solutions and proposals for clients to increase company turnover and profitability.
    • Ensure timely receipt of client payments for completed projects

    Requirements:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Network Security Management or any related field of study.
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role or its equivalent,3 of which have been in a managerial capacity.
    • Professional certifications in Networking or Enterprise Systems (eg. CCNA), Project Management (PMP or PRINCE2) is mandatory.
    • Certification in ITIL, HP, Del, Lenovo system is an added advantage.
    • Must have experience in Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Certification and relations.
    • Ability to understand market trends and have a strategic mind set to grow the business and solve problems.
    • Proficient understanding of server and desktop hardware, operating systems, Network Technologies, firewalls and load balancers, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory (Design, Security, and Administration), Server virtualization, Knowledge of Messaging and Collaboration systems (MS Exchange, SharePoint, Archiving, Cisco Unified Communication, ITIL).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and time management skills.
    • Strong managerial and leadership skills.
    • Working knowledge in MS Office Suite.
