    Trade Sales Representative (TSR) - General Trade (FMCG Sales)- Mathare

    Job Summary:

    • We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Trade Representative to manage and grow within the General Trade channel of the FMCG business. The role involves visit to the distributor, retailers, carrying out sales strategies, availability, visibility and volume growth within given area.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Making daily sales visits to promote and sell our products.
    • Building and maintaining relationships with retailers, wholesalers and distributor.
    • Drive volume and revenue growth through attainment of daily, weekly and monthly sales targets contributing to the overall growth of the business.
    • Monitor and report stock, competitor activity and market intelligence within the area of responsibility.
    • Keep retailers informed on promotions, new product introduction and seasonal initiative campaigns.
    • Assist in coordinating delivery and maintain stock replenishment with the distribution teams.
    • Trade marketing activities and execution of point-of-sale activation.
    • Maintain collections and service credit accounts where applicable.
    • Maintain proper records for customer comment, route coverage and call coverage.
    • Conducting market research to identify new opportunities.

    Skills required:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good negotiation and influencing skills.
    • Time and routing management skills.
    • Basic reporting and data entry competences.
    • Excellent knowledge of assigned area of operation.
    • Adaptability and results-driven mindset.
    • The ability to work well by oneself and also as part of a team.

    Working conditions:

    • Field-based with regular retail calls.
