Volunteer – Legal Aid and Education Programme at Kituo Cha Sheria (KITUO)

VOLUNTEER – LEGAL AID AND EDUCATION PROGRAMME (Ref: KCS/V -NRB/APP)

The Volunteer will report to the Coordinator, Legal Aid and Education Programme and he/she will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Drafting legal pleadings and other relevant documents.
• Conducting comprehensive legal research.
• Contributing to legal and policy publications.
• Providing support in the coordination and organization of meetings and activities.
• Performing any other duties as assigned by the Coordinator, Legal Aid and Education Programme

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Qualifications and training: A first degree in law
• Relevant Experience: Must have relevant experience in an NGO
• Skills: Must have good communication skills both orally and in writing. Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Power Point). Exceptional Legal Research and Writing.
