    Sales Manager (Kumasi Branch)

    Job Description

    This role is responsible for the development of distribution strategy in order meet sales targets. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through others for periods up to one year.

    • Recruit, retain and motivate 15 active Financial Advisors licensed by the National Insurance Commission (NIC).
    • Develop and design cutting-edge strategies to motivate Financial Advisors for peak performance.
    • Conducting product refresher trainings as well as relevant topics to improve the skills set of financial advisors every month.
    • Supporting non-performing Advisors through PRP and Co-attendance in the team in conjunction with Branch Sales Manager to improve performance.
    • Research and develop more commercial worksite markets and develop strategies to penetrate them on a weekly basis.
    • Vet and certify by signing on all proposal forms to ensure they are fully and accurately completed for data capturing.
    • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports to meet reporting standards.
    • Manage error rate to 2% returns or below for the team on a month on month, year to year basis.

    Qualifications and Experience required:

    • Tertiary Degree from an accredited University.
    • Previous experience as a Sales Manager is preferable.
    • Have strong administrative capabilities.
    • Should be comfortable in applying the sales process.

    Retention Team Lead

    Job Description

    The successful candidate in this role will effectively lead and motivate the client retention team to ensure performance targets are achieved in line with Old Mutual Ghana’s strategy, business plan, values and culture. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts and efforts of others


    • Provide telephonic and face to face service to customers and intermediaries.
    • Implement plans that will contribute to maximum client satisfaction and ensure continued profitability and business growth.
    • Actively manage and report on the achievement of business unit targets
    • Adheres to business, process and compliance rules.
    • Develops, coaches and manages performance of staff.
    • Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the business product offerings, campaigns, rules and conditions in order to recommend the right solution to customers.
    • Perform proactive activities designed to retain customers including but not limited to contacting clients to advise them of unsuccessful premium collection and various campaigns to be introduced to drive retention.

    Requirements: Skills, Qualifications and Experience required

    • Bachelor’s Degree (in sales, marketing, business or related field) from an accredited University
    • Confident with the MS Office Suite with strong excel skills
    • 3+ years experience in a similar role is preferred
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong conflict resolution skills
    • Outstanding customer service abilities
