    Procurement Assistant

    PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT

    • The position is responsible for ensuring timely requisition of goods and services for internal consumption and ensure that the goods/services are in the right quality and quantity.

    KEYRESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

    • Preparation of the LPO and placing orders for goods and services to ensure that suppliers deliver within the agreed lead time.
    • Flight booking for staff and other authorized personnel and also responsible for making hotel reservations for conference facilities and staff accommodation.
    • Receive,inspect and issue goods to users as per their requests and make followups to ensure they have been delivered.
    • Receive invoices,attach necessary documents and forward to Finance for payment processing.
    • Book and coordinate provision of meals,venue for various meetings in the head office.
    • Coordinate with courier services to ensure timely dispatch of parcels to the branches.
    • Participate in preparation for graduations through acquisition of gowns.

    Internal Audit Assistant

    INTERNAL AUDIT ASSISTANT

    • The position will be responsible for the planning and execution and of audit the institution’s programs as per the set guidelines.

    KEYRESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

    • Prepare and execute audit programs on operational and financial audit.
    • Assess risk, evaluate internal controls, review financial and operational systems and appraise standards of business conducts while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, policies and procedures.
    • Examine and analyse all accounting records, documents and systems of the institute to ensure financial recording, accuracy and compliance with established international standards, statutory requirements, procedure and internal controls.
    • Prepare detailed report on audit findings and make recommendations to improve the institute’s accounting and management practices.
    • Perform risk assessment and analysis of the institute information systems and recommend measure to mitigate against them.
    • Carry out regular business continuity and disaster recovery assurance audits.
    • Follow up to ensure approved recommendations are implemented.
    • Conduct investigation and special projects where applicable.

    KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    • Implementation of Internal Audit plan.
    • Assurance on lecture claim(Quarterlyreport).
    • Increase resource optimisation.

    • Diploma in business management from a recognised institution.
    • Certified Public Accountant Partone(CPAI).

    Senior Internal Auditor

    • The position will be responsible for giving assurance to the management and the council that the Institute resource are optimally used and report on the risk management and ensure proper mitigation strategies are put in place to manage the risks.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

    • Manage the internal audit plan and development of audit programs for the institute to ensure efficiency in audit execution.
    • Carry out risk assessment for the institute to point out priority for the institute consideration.
    • Carry out compliance audit for the institute to ensure its compliance to the legal and statutory requirement.
    • In charge proper system of documentation of audit work papers/tests for evidence and reference when required.
    • Responsible for proper utilisation of resources and provide assurance on their optimal use.
    • Prepare detailed audit reports and recommend on ways to improve internal controls.
    • Follow upon findings and recommendations agreed during internal audits.
    • Conduct investigations and special projects where applicable.

    Head, Business Development

    • The job holder for responsible for provision of strategic leadership and growth of the respective departments. The position is responsible for generating strategic financial goals and growth of KIM.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Formulate strategies and objectives to support implementation of competitive training, OPI special projects and growth in KIM membership in line with the institute vision and mission.
    • Provide leadership to the Marketing Team, develop marketing strategic plan and budget for the Institute in line with the overall strategic plan and objectives.
    • Prepare new and existing product marketing plans through research, analysis of the market trends and recommend changes on the institute marketing and business development strategies in cooperation with divisional heads.
    • Support Business Development for all KIMs’ products and services to generate revenue for the Institute, seek partnership and sponsorship for membership events through developing proposals, negotiating with prospects and partnership management.
    • Oversee and implement governance related activities such as elections, annual branch meeting and annual general meetings.
    • Oversee coverage and branding during corporate events to ensure look and feel is consistent with theInstitutebrandthroughuseofsocialmediaposting,mediacoveragewherenecessary,bannersand other branded items.
    • Oversee the training cycle for open and in-house programs that cover the needs assessment process design, marketing, implementation and evaluation of the programs.
    • Design and implement an effective monitoring and evaluation assessment system for the duration with a view to improve service delivery to the client.
    • Develop methodologies to access market opportunities and the viability of business, analyse and interpret data to identify patterns and solutions.
    • Leading and coordination of CSR activities including devising long-term CSR programme
    • Undertake market and business development activities to create new revenue channels for the department and institution.
    • Facilitate the preparation of annual departmental budget and oversee its overall realization.
    • Formulate strategies and objectives to support implementation of competitive training, OPI special projects and growth in KIM membership in line with the institute vision and mission.
