    Fintech Solution Manager

    About the job


    • The Candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting Fintech related Solutions and products in the Country.
    • He will provide subject matter expertise to support sales effort and expand the company’s footprint in the country and the sub region and will be the main interface to the company’s customers.
    • He will support delivery of client-facing research projects focusing on FinTech topics such as payments, lending and crowdfunding, artificial intelligence, InsurTech, digital wealth management and others.
    • He will play an active role in all aspects of the delivery lifecycle, from sales through to initial data collection, analysis, visualization and communication of the findings, allowing for a great deal of diversity on the job and the development of a broad skills set. As the role evolves, he will have an increasing level of direct client exposure, which in many cases reaches C-level executives


    • Collaborate with Executive Team to create a strategic business plan of operations and business growth in the specific location
    • Understand Huawei Fintech solutions and be able to meet and address our customer needs
    • Identify opportunities and partnerships that fill the gap in value proposition
    • Gather and analyse tailored solutions that address customer needs in the best way
    • Identify and implement new opportunities that grow a successful fintech business
    • Conduct field research in the industry based on desk research, conference and event findings, interviews with prominent FinTech firms, banks and other financial and non-financial institutions
    • Responsible for deliverables ranging from periodic benchmarking activities to bespoke client projects and industry roundtables
    • Assist with the management of individual client accounts and be involved in the development of internal initiatives

    Essential role related knowledge, technical skills, qualifications and experience

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject profession
    • Minimum Six (6) years’ experience in a Fintech Company
    • Knowledge of the current Fintech eco-system
    • Ability to develop and deliver presentation to clients
    • Effective analytic and decision-making skills
    • Ability to follow processes and make improvement

    Procurement Quality Control Officer

    Purpose of the role

    • Project procurement: early involvement in the project bidding phase, take the lead in developing the project procurement strategy, and execute the procurement strategy in the delivery stage to meet the subcontracting resource and cost requirements of the project.
    • Supplier Qualification: Analyze the local market supply resource according to the business requirements of the rep office, and qualify new suppliers according to company processes and business needs.
    • Supplier Selection: Take the lead in developing procurement strategies, implement bidding and negotiation, achieve the best combination of resources and costs, and support project success.
    • Procurement cost baseline and reasonableness management: Maintain and continuously optimize the procurement benchmark of related categories, check the reasonableness of cost on site, and build the relative competitive edge of TCO procurement cost.
    • Standardize business operations under the procurement process framework, standardize the management of procurement documents, maintain IT systems and data, and continuously improve work quality and internal control compliance.
    • Risk Management: identify the top risk and out risk mitigation plan, accountability system and track the closure of risk
    • Event backtracking: Organize operation process and trustworthiness incident backtracking, case study and Evaluation.
    • Self-check, inspection and audit: audit the various key control items, configure and update the self-check table, track, report and close issues timely.

    Essential role related knowledge, technical skills, qualifications and experience

    • Have strong communication and negotiation capabilities.
    • Ability to grasp processes quickly and propose system re-engineering solution

    • Cost analysis, data management and sensitivity and knowledge of Ghana market.
    • Candidates with experience in the following fields besides knowledge in procurement could apply (Total Quality Management role, Project Management and Technical Director)
    • Have 3+ years’ experience in telecom project delivery; Have a good command of engineering service sales, delivery project management, and technical or procurement knowledge; Understand the delivery of equipment installation, civil engineering, OSP, FTTX, managed service, safe city, data centre, and software; Have good communication skills and experience with customers or subcontractors.
    • Bachelor degree in engineering, sales and marketing, business admin; Professional qualification in Procurement is added advantage; Training in supplier management

    IT Storage & Cloud Engineer

    Purpose of the role

    • Managing the IT storage infrastructure, optimizing the performance of the storage infrastructure, support mid-size to large IT/ Cloud and Data Center related projects and engaging with customers by sharing the company solutions, strategy and future directions. The job requires interactive engagement and partnering with customers, understanding their strategic, requirements and pain points, offering optimum solutions, providing detailed product presentations to mid-level to upper management.
    • Optimizing the performance of the storage infrastructure, Support mid-size to large IT/ Cloud and Data Center related projects and engaging with customers by sharing the company solutions, strategy and future directions.
    • The job requires interactive engagement and partnering with customers, understanding their strategic, requirements and pain points, offering optimum solutions, providing detailed product presentations to mid-level to upper management
    • Support customer targeted technology events, preparing technical solutions, and traveling to customer locations and regional Huawei offices supporting the account teams. The role may involve interfacing with the engineering teams to develop and present proof of concept solutions demonstrations.
    • Brand ambassador evangelizing Huawei IT vision and articulating the advantages of Huawei IT/Cloud/Data Center solutions and services.
    • Support Huawei IT/Cloud/Data Center Marketing and Branding activities (CXO visits, seminars, workshops, and forums), promote the Huawei ICT brand and develop new opportunities, build and enhance relationship with potential customers or partners.
    • Acquire customer, market and competitive information on daily basis in order to influence R&D/HQ in China to make the right and timely decisions for product and solution planning. Required areas of expertise include Enterprise IT, Telecom IT, Cloud (private, public and hybrid), Virtualization, Orchestration, and Management in compute, storage, network; software defined data center/storage/network, SDN, NFV, Big Data and etc.
    • Participate in training materials development, sharing experience and delivering technical abilities through the trainings organized by HQ/Regions in order to promote corporate solutions sales competence
    • Develop or manage global partnership;
    • Explore new global partners and business opportunities, define and promote contracts, and achieve cooperation sales and performance targets.
    • Provide global partner strategy suggestions and guide the BU or partners to make decisions.
    • Organize and manage cooperation activities of partners.
    • Organize and lead the cooperation virtual team and the global partner management team.
    • Continuously organize annual business planning for global partners.

    Essential role related knowledge, technical skills, qualifications and experience

    • Education/Qualification level: Bachelor Degree or above in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics or Marketing
    • Experience: At least 5+ years’ experience in IT and Banking industry Sales– experience in
    • global bank brand would be preferable. Basic presentation and communication skills
    • Good customer relationship with telecoms operators and channel partners
    • Good team work skills, ability to plan, organize and work under pressure, occasionally travel overseas and Africa countries
    • Sales and business development experience
    • Basic telecom industry knowledge
    • Contracts and project negotiation experience for win-win relationships.
    • Ability to build good customer relationship at all levels
    • Good presentation and written communication skills
    • Ability to define project and work independently and/or work as part of a Team
    • Have the ability to communicate and guide customers and channels.
    • Have the project operation capability
