REQUIREMENTS / RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

• Need to have good practical experience and expertise in agronomy principles.
• Have demonstrated effective communication (numerate narrations, clarity, brevity) at a rural small scale farmer level and through to high levels within the company.
• Comfortable with using innovative electronic technology daily in the course of accomplishing the work.

QUALIFICATIONS / KEY SKILLS

Candidates with at least three years post tertiary education experience preferred. Experience working with pyrethrum is an added bonus.  

• You have experience managing the construction and assembly of a complex factory through to commissioning. 
• You have detailed experience and understanding of engineering project development process such as preliminary design reviews, final reviews, requirements generation and management from design to completed project
• You drive innovation, sustain global best practices, originate and manage upgrades, additional automation to boost efficiency, designing and see small ‘one off’ projects to completion.
• You consistently meet your schedule and budget deadlines and deliver quality results on time and complete. 
• You manage equipment sourcing, importation and allied details. 

QUALIFICATIONS / KEY SKILLS

Chemical engineering experience and/or experience with a multinational firm will be an added advantage. You will report to the CEO, be a key member of the management team and all the engineering staff would report to you. 

Applicants with a Master’s degree in engineering and at least ten years’ experience in a complex engineering business are encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

• Manage the CEO’s diary on a day to day basis, travel planning and logistics support.
• Manage incoming and outgoing email, other correspondence for the CEO
• Coordinate weekly and monthly team meetings
• Manage contacts and certain external relations
• Assist with administrative tasks in the HR function
• Manage expenses and allied tools mainly for the CEO
• Organize and oversee the execution of any events and conferences
• Execute all aspects of office management in general including hospitality, house-keeping, communication tools, correspondence, office stores and allied matters

• Effectively and competently use Microsoft Office programmes
• Demonstrate effective communication at high levels within the company. 
• Have numerate narrations with clarity and brevity.

We are looking for an adaptable, quick learner, who works with minimum supervision, is punctual and delivers quality work. You should have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years’ experience in a similar role.
