    Offshore Field Manager

    Job Description

    • To develop a detailed understanding of the Facility Safety Case by the Operating Organisation/Workforce and to operate rigorously within the prescribed Company and O&M Contractors Safety Management System.
    • To assist in the implementation and assurance of an installation EHS Plan and to support the EHS Performance through improving health, safety and environmental performance
    • To ensure a high level of emergency response capability is maintained on the installation, with potential responsibility as ‘on-scene commander’ in the event of any incident on or around the installation which endangers personnel or assets
    • To assure the facility Operations Philosophy is maintained and continually challenged.  To work with the O&M provider to maintain and assure Operational Standards and Processes and confirm they are systematically applied as per contract strategy.
    • To assure the compliance of all installation personnel with Company policies, standards, procedures and to assure that all plant / equipment is operated in accordance with design parameters and that all abnormalities are recorded/approved.
    • To assure maintenance and inspection programmes are in accordance with the 28 & 90-day Plan to achieve the planned plant availability and maintenance of systems integrity and class requirements
    • To assure that the offshore operational plans are realistic and reflect the facility Operating environment, are consistent with Tullow EHS policies whilst maximising the efficiency with optimised OPEX and CAPEX expenditure.
    • To assure that the Installation operations meet the 90-day Plan (Production, Budget and Activity execution). Reasons for variation to be addressed systematically with onshore support
    • To control work not included in the plan in accordance with delegated authorities and planning procedures.
    • To assure the suitable training and mentoring schemes for National personnel are in place for Company and Contractor positions to ensure the development of skills and competencies are achieved in alignment with the Nationalisation Program.

    Job Requirements

    • Must have an extensive experience within the international offshore Oil & Gas Industry
    • A minimum of 15 years operational experience in the upstream industry with 5 years as OIM
    • Must have knowledge in the Management of Offshore Safety (UK Safety Case Process/Application), Integrity management, Production Operations/Maintenance and Marine operations

    Principal Production Technologist

    Job Description

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Facilitate linkage between Reservoir, Facilities & Well Engineering Teams within the Development Team
    • Deliver the Statement of requirements for Upper & Lower Well Completion design for the Well Engineering Team for execution
    • Deliver the facilities flow assurance concept for the Project Facilities Team for detailed design & execution
    • Deliver production technology studies for development projects; geo-mechanical modeling, sanding, formation damage, flow assurance, artificial lift, scale predictions, hydraulic fracture and other stimulation assessments
    • Participate in JV Partner meetings/workshops to assist with relevant Partner technical approvals
    • Provide wellsite Petroleum Engineering supervision as required during key exploration/appraisal well testing operations

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of a tertiary degree in Petroleum Engineering
    • Must have 15+ year previous production technology driven experience with exposure to field operations.
    • Must be an industry leader in well completion design
    • Must have strong background in flow assurance, artificial lift, design and implementation of sand control techniques
    • Must have strong analytic and simulation production technology skills
    • Must have the ability to temper software output with engineering judgement
    • Must be a competent user of PETEX, Kappa, OFM, PI
    • Must have an operational experience with well services, well interventions and stimulation (fracture) operations

    Completion Engineer

    Job Description

    The position will cover the complete well life cycle of completions from basis of design generation through to end of well report for assigned wells including;

    • Generating the well specific completion operations programmes ensuring all requirements meet the basis of design objectives.
    • Conducting a hazard assessment on each assigned well and maintaining its risk register throughout the well completion/intervention lifecycle.
    • Ensuring EHS requirements are integral to all aspects of the completion basis of design and programme including well testing and well intervention activities
    • Building effective relationships and interact professionally with internal/external stakeholders and service companies.
    • Managing assigned service contract and contractor performance process.

    You will be an experienced Completions Engineer with knowledge and experience in design, running of SMART completions, well testing, and subsea tree or landing string systems. You will additionally demonstrate expertise

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
    • University degree in an engineering discipline
    • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
    • Interpersonal skills necessary to establish good working relationships with team.

    Exploration Manager

    Job Description

    • Build on/ adapt/ drive exploration strategy for growth in Ghana
    • Plan and lead exploration projects and activities
    • Align technical activities with business objectives to ensure timely delivery of fit for purpose solutions
    • Effectively liaise with commercial function/ Manager to ensure a value-driven approach to exploration decision making
    • Undertake regional to prospect scale geological analysis in support of exploration play and prospect definition and ranking
    • Present recommendations to management, peer reviews, QAs and partners
    • Ensure all work is carried out to appropriate standards and in accordance with Tullow internal processes
    • Lead in the geological training and mentoring of junior staff and secondees

    • Must have demonstrable experience in multiple basins and geologies globally, in a variety of exploration roles
    • Must demonstrate Advanced generalist geological/geophysical skills
    • Must have the ability to integrate multidisciplinary input (technical, commercial, legal) towards business goals

    Senior Completion Engineer

    Job Description

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for performing Completion Engineering studies to ensure optimum reservoir face completions designs
    • Managing external studies to deliver optimal completion performance
    • Responsible for completion/testing engineering support for Ghana Deepwater operations team
    • Ensures EHS requirements are integral to all aspects of completion, testing and well intervention activities.
    • Contribute to delivering operational EHS performance. 
    • Review and provide feedback on operational programmes which account for and dictate best EHS practise. 
    • Ensures that all completion activities comply with company standards and governmental regulations.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of a university degree in an engineering discipline, preferably in mechanical or petroleum engineering.
    • Must have a minimum of 8 years experience as a completions engineer with operating companies.
    • Must have subsea completions experience within the last five years in water depths greater than 800 metres.
    • Must have knowledge and experience in design and running of SMART completions, well testing, and subsea tree / landing string systems.
    • Must have work experience in remote locations and knowledge of work environments in West Africa.
