    Recruitment Coordinator

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Recruitment & Selection: Support the full recruitment cycle by coordinating job descriptions, posting vacancies, screening applications, scheduling interviews, preparing candidate communications, conducting reference checks and drafting contracts.
    • Onboarding: Facilitate smooth new hire integration by preparing induction packs, coordinating with Payroll, IT and Administration teams, tracking probation reviews and supporting exit processes including clearance and file closure.
    • Workforce Planning & Succession Support: Maintain accurate staff databases and vacancy trackers, while preparing manpower data and reports to support workforce planning and budgeting.
    • Reporting & Process Improvement: Ensure recruitment data is well-maintained by managing candidate files, trackers and dashboards, as well as preparing weekly and monthly recruitment progress reports for management.
    • Employer Branding & Talent Pipelines: Assist in promoting Harley's as an employer of choice by supporting internship, graduate trainee and attachment programmes, engaging with universities, and coordinating career fairs and recruitment campaigns.
    • Compliance & Policy: Safeguard compliance by ensuring that all recruitment activities meet Kenyan labour laws and our client policies and data protection requirements, while maintaining strict confidentiality of employee and candidate records.
    • Service Excellence in Recruitment: Deliver a responsive and professional recruitment service by supporting hiring managers, escalating bottlenecks and maintaining strong relationships with candidates, agencies and other stakeholders.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
    • CHRP or equivalent HR certification is required.
    • Membership in IHRM or a regional HR professional body is required.
    • At least 5 years of proven experience in Human Capital, including a minimum of 2 years focused on recruitment or talent acquisition. Experience with graduate and internship programmes is desirable.
    • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems.
    • Proficient in interviewing, using assessment tools, and conducting competency-based recruitment.
    • Strong reporting and analytical skills (e.g. recruitment metrics and dashboards).
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills coupled with a high level of integrity.

    Recruitment & Selection Executive

    • Workforce Planning & Succession Support: Support the Human Capital Manager in manpower planning, budgeting and identifying potential successors, while strengthening graduate, internship and trainee programmes.
    • Regional Oversight & Coordination: Act as the regional lead for recruitment by guiding in-country Human Capital Executives, harmonizing processes, consolidating metrics and driving cross-country employer branding initiatives.

    Finance Lead

    • The Finance Manager will oversee all financial management, accounting, budgeting, taxation, and planning functions of the organization. The role will ensure the company maintains strong financial controls, complies with DCP regulatory requirements, and supports strategic decision-making through insightful financial modelling and analysis.
    • The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting and financial management within a microfinance, fintech, or banking environment and will be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and growth-oriented setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Financial Management & Reporting
    • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and DCP regulations.
    • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
    • Lead preparation of management reports, variance analysis, and board reporting packs.
    • Liaise with external auditors, regulators (CBK, KRA), and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely submissions.
    • Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting
    • Lead the annual budgeting process, including development of financial forecasts and scenario analyses.
    • Monitor performance against budgets, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Provide financial insights and analytics to guide management decisions, lending strategies, and portfolio expansion.
    • Accounting & Treasury Operations
    • Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including reconciliations, loan disbursement postings, and collections accounting.
    • Manage cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements to support loan portfolio growth.
    • Oversee payroll processing, statutory deductions, and compliance with all tax obligations.
    • Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
    • Manage preparation and filing of all statutory returns (PAYE, VAT, Withholding Tax, Excise Duty, etc.) in accordance with KRA regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with Digital Credit Provider (DCP) reporting standards, CBK guidelines, and other applicable laws.
    • Advise management on tax planning opportunities, cost optimization, and regulatory changes.
    • Financial Modelling & Strategic Analysis
    • Build dynamic financial models to support capital raising, pricing strategies, and new product development (e.g., EWA, payroll financing, asset-backed loans).
    • Conduct sensitivity analyses, stress testing, and loan portfolio performance tracking.
    • Support fundraising efforts through preparation of investor presentations, financial projections, and valuation models.
    • Leadership & Team Management
    • Supervise and mentor finance and accounting team members.
    • Drive continuous process improvement, automation, and adoption of accounting systems (e.g., Musoni,Mambu, QuickBooks, Xero).
    • Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and efficiency within the finance function.

    Requirements

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
    • CPA (K) or ACCA qualification required; MBA or MSc in Finance is an added advantage.
    • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finance management, preferably within a Microfinance, Fintech, or DCP environment.
    • Proven experience in budgeting, financial modelling, and regulatory reporting.
    • Strong understanding of CBK DCP regulations, IFRS, and KRA tax laws.
    • Proficiency in accounting and financial planning systems (QuickBooks, Excel, Power BI, Musoni,Mambu, etc.).
