    Database Administrator

    Responsible for the design and management of the organisation’s database architecture to ensure secure access and availability in accordance with business needs

    Responsibilities and Experience
    Responsibilities
     Manage the organisations database technologies and associated schemas to allow secure, efficient and effective access to the organisation`s structured data
     Review and revise processes and procedures to enhance efficiency of access to users and systems
     Plan and implement regular system upgrades to enhance service continuity and user experience
     Create and manage multiple databases and assist in capacity planning
     Monitor, Maintain database systems and troubleshoot and fix problems that may arise
     Maintain data integrity and security (manage roles and permissions of all database users)
     Develop strategies and implement solutions for data retention and replication to disaster recovery sites
     Create and manage constraints and indexes
     Support software developers with database operations including the development of complex SQL, tuning of DML and creation of stored procedures
     Setup and maintain database infrastructure for the company`s BI needs
     Learn relevant business processes and understand the data flow, criticality and dependencies
     Effectively coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders (internal teams and vendors)
     Responsibility for health checks, tablespace and log management
     Backup & Recovery.
     Responsibility for providing support in Testing and Deployment of new components.
     Providing technical support across the Database Estate
     Database encryption management in line with GDPR
     Responsibility for Engineered Database Systems (Exadata, FusionCube, etc.)
     Accountable for Documentation of all changes across the Database Estate
     Required to take decisions best suited for the stability of the Database environment during instability.

    Experience

    •  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field.
    •  5+ years’ experience with Oracle & MsSql Database administration & Support
    •  2-4 years’ experience with database Clustering
    •  2-4 years’ experience with Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology (SMART)
    •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
    •  Ability to work well in a team in a fast paced, constantly changing environment

    Business Manager

    The Business Manager will provide effective and proactive support to the Technology Director by managing resources and information and assist with scheduling and planning meetings and project activities within the Technology Function. The successful candidate will update all projects that comes through to the CTO’s office working closely with Technology & the Extended Technology Leadership Teams. He or She will be the team assistant for the Technology Function liaising with other Stakeholders in all activities that involve Technology Staff. The person will be the Liaison between CTO and other stakeholder both external and internal.

    •  Write Technology Director’s reports e.g. weekly Technology Leadership team update
    •  Provide key management/ SMT level reports for Technology Director where required e.g. operational/project reviews / budget reviews / off sites
    •  Manage documentation on behalf of Technology Director with emphasis on confidentiality.  Flag up agenda items with Technology Director’s direct reports and other heads as appropriate
    •  Take responsibility of Technology Director’s correspondence: reading, replying, summarizing and editing.
    •  Prepare meeting packs and follow up on governance meetings (ops reviews and commercial reviews).
    •  Manage review packs and address management needs.
    •  Ensure that Technology Director’s calendar address business priorities ensuring gaps and clashes are foreseen and rectified.
    •  Plan meetings/events in conjunction with Technology Director and his/her direct reports.
    •  Fully provide secretariat – Operational Reviews, Management meetings. This includes: preparation of agendas and meeting materials, production of minutes, preparation of governance schedule.
    •  Communicate with relevant functions in Vodafone Ghana on Technology issues
    •  Undertake ad hoc projects or tasks as requested by the Technology Director and the Technology Leadership Team
    •  Work on various business initiatives and projects from total business that requires technology staff input.

    Experience

    •  Minimum of a First Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Arts or Related Field
    •  Minimum of 3 years Proven Experience in a Similar Role
    •  Prior Experience in Telecoms Industry is an Added Advantage
    •  Must have Working Knowledge of Office Management Systems and Procedures
    •  Ability to Manage, Facilitate, and Provide Structure to Technology Leadership Team meeting
    •  Proficiency in MS Office Tools including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    •  Outstanding Organizational and Time Management Skills

    Sales Executive

    Successful candidates for the Sales Executive role will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction. Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluating customer needs.     •  Must have at least Two years proven Experience as a Sales Executive or Relevant role in Related Industry
    •  Excellent Customer Service and Sales Skills.
    •  Strong Verbal and Written Communicator.
    •  Excellent Phone and Presentation Skills.
    •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and Sales Software Programs.

    Regional Operations Manager

    The Regional Operations Manager will manage regional technical operations to deliver and maintain KPIs within SLA to all mobile and fixed customers, ensure effective coordination of all technical work and stakeholder engagement to drive accountability, and to ensure efficient delivery within the outsourced operations for all services.

    • Achieve and maintain agreed SLAs for fault and new service provision for the fixed and mobile network through effective work allocation and continuous trending to achieve improved performance and also drive accountability and efficient delivery within the outsourced operations for all managed services
    • Ensure readiness of network to support business demand for growth in fixed & mobile subscribers.
    • Ensure workflow processes in both fixed and mobile spaces are optimised to ensure efficient delivery for all regional teams and supporting functions, and also ensure effective change management within the Technology function by tracking all changes and ensuring change management process is duly followed.
    • Participate in annual operational and strategic planning including sectional budget preparation and provide technical guidance to Commercial, Marketing, Revenue Assurance and Technology Business units.
    • Provide clear targets and direction to team and conduct regular performance review meetings, , develop a competence development plan as well as provide succession plan for the team
    • Sets and controls the Central Operations budget and is responsible for the unit’s team management including recruitment.
    • Ensure manpower profile is delivered against the QPB. (quality program baseline)
    • Responsible for service, investment and operational expenditure within financial limits

    Experience

    • Engineering Degree or equivalent in the relevant Field.
    • Four (4) or more years of relevant working experience in the Mobile, Fixed, IP, Data Networks and Field operations and must be able to manage demand.
    • Excellent understanding of mobile and fixed communications technologies, emerging technologies and the local Ghanaian telecom market.
    • Proficient in using CAD and Map tools such as AutoCAD and GoogleEarth
    • Proficinet in working with Fibre, Copper, Power and Microwave Technologies
    • Excellent skills in desktop computing
    • Service delivery experience
    • Experience in the resource management environment.
