    Senior Sales Support Agent

    About Your Job:

    As the Senior Sales Support Agent, you will support the sales team to achieve their assigned revenue targets by providing technical support and data within prescribed time frames. You will provide maximum support to the sales force in order to achieve revenue targets and raise awareness of Qatar's products and services.

    Accountabilities:

    • Provide the sales team with the necessary market intelligence, reports, highlighting the opportunities to improve, yields and market share
    • Contribute in managing distribution channels and database for the sales team, be local CRS contact person.
    • Use analytical tools to generate market share, revenue and sales data
    • Tracking and reporting of ROI on advertising, promotions, sponsorship's and sales activities
    • Coordination and submission of annual marketing activity plans and budgets
    • Maintain records of all fare approvals and corporate contracts for future reference and audit purpose
    • Provide maximum technical support of the sales force to ensure increased awareness of Qatar Airways products and services
    • Handle inquiries, problems encountered by the corporate/agent and liaise with relevant department of head office 
    • Research and analyse individual markets and place Qatar Airways in very visible place in the market and secure maximum market share of traffic on Qatar Ariways network.
    • Monitoring systems/key accounts intranet for content/Qatar Airways  presence/competitor activities
    • Assist in develop sales and marketing plans, PLB contracts, sales/Marketing reports, PLB monthly reports/yearly reports
    • Prepare travel agency and corporate fare updates, policy changes, product updates and distribute via electronic and hard copy
    • Prepare flyers and updates fare circular to the trade and corporate accounts
    • Coordination and distribution of all POS and promotional collateral
    • Make and confirm reservations for passengers where necessary, record and process reservations made by phone/fax/email.

    About You:

    The successful candidate will ideally have:

    • Job-related  experience with a tour operator or an Airline (preferably)
    • Previous experience in a sales agent role advantageous
    • Experience with Amadeus would be advantageous 
    • Strong MS Office skills
    • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English

    Airport Services Manager

    About your job:

    • We are looking for an exceptional leader to manage our station in Accra as Airport Services Manager.
    • Reporting directly to the Regional Manager you will inspire and motivate your team to deliver the five star service Qatar Airways is renowned for. You will ensure that the Airport Operations run smoothly and efficiently conforming to all safety and security requirements.
    • You will champion the Qatar Airways customer, employees, our contractors and our Airline in all phases of the airport operation to provide a safe, professional and on time operation that exceeds the internal and external customer expectations.
    • Responsible for training and resource planning, you will recommend staffing levels, plan and implement working schedules, implement necessary controls and ensure compliance with labour laws. You will handle irregular operations at minimum cost  whilst ensuring an impeccable level of customer service and ensure operations are within budget. You will monitor all airport use agreements, rental agreements and third party service providers.

    About you:

    The successful candidate will ideally have:

    • Bachelors degree or equivalent
    • Solid experience in a managerial role within an airport environment
    • Current or previous experience working as an Airport Manager with an airline
    • Strong management background with the ability to inspire a team
    • Extensive overall knowledge across all areas of airport operations is required
    • Proven experience in Crisis Management
    • Strong commercial acumen
    • Ability to work shifts is essential

    Account Manager

    About Your Job:

    In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with Qatar Airways’ corporate and trade customers. The responsibilities include developing a successful, consistent approach to local and multinational dealing, which drives maximum revenue and minimum cost of sale.  It also includes gaining maximum value for the airline from any Agreements that exist between to the two parties.  Furthermore, you will engage in joint sales and marketing activity to grow the level and quality of QR revenue sold through these partners and drive efficiencies in the distribution processes.

    Specific accountabilities include:

    • Develops and maintains long term strategic relationships with Qatar Airways’ Trade partners and corporate clients.
    • Prepares an account development plan to achieve short, medium, and long term mutual benefits for both Trade Partners and Corporate customers.
    • Contributes to the formulation and implementation of QR sales strategy to maximise short and long term revenue opportunities, reduce cost of sale and generate channel shift where appropriate.
    • Reviews QR sales data with account portfolio to drive revenue and seek out tactical revenue opportunities
    • Manages and co-ordinate projects and initiatives on behalf of area of responsibility
    • Develops tactical Sales and Marketing activity in support of sales opportunities in both Trade Partners and Corporate market place.

    About You:

    • To be successful in this role, you will need a Diploma or Associate Degree combined with a minimum of five years of job-related experience, with four of those years in a sales and marketing position within the travel or airline sector. 
    • You will need excellent negotiation, influencing and relationship building capability and sound commercial acumen. 
    • Key to your success in this role is an ability to lead and mentor a team of sales executives in advanced selling techniques and account management strategies.

    Senior Airport Services Agent

    About Your Job:

    In this role, you will lead and support the provision of service excellent to customers at the airport terminal, and help create a stress-free environment for customers whilst travelling.  You will support in ensuring total quality service and adherence to the safety policies and security standards of the company. You will also ensure Premium Passengers receive total quality service.

    Specific accountabilities include:

    • Supervising Check-in, Transfer Desk, and other related areas for the smooth acceptance of passengers
    • Liaising with Check-in, Transfer Desk, and support Airport Services Supervisor in all areas
    • Escorting and directing Arriving/Departing passengers to the respective areas such as Hotel Desk, Visa Counter, Transfer Desk, Premium Lounges, and Boarding Gates
    • Assisting Duty Officer to handle company material and records
    • Liaising with the GHA to ensure smooth passenger handling and quick processing of hotel and transfer passengers
    • Assisting passengers in regard to Entry Requirements, Visas, Residence Permits and ensuring smooth transition through through the airport facilities
    • Performing other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit

    About You:

    • To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Qualification combined with a minimum of three years experience in a customer service role with exposure to airport passenger handling.
    • Completion of the IATA or Airline Basic Tariff and Pricing Course would be advantageous.  
    • You will need excellent interpersonal skills, a team oriented approach and strong IT and organisational skills. Previous exposure to a GDS, including the Amadeus ALTEA passenger handling system would be well regarded.
    • An upbeat and positive attitude are necessary to perform well in this very high pressure and demanding environment.
    • English language fluency (written and spoken) is a requirement for this position.

    Airport Services Duty Officer

    As the Airport Services Duty Officer, you will be responsible for supervising and controlling flight-handling activities such as Flight editing, Check-in, Transfer and Boarding in order to ensure a high service standard is maintained. You will achieve optimum customer satisfaction and on-time departure of flights and control the shift as a direct representative of the Airport Services Manager.     • Conducting spot-checks on operations and staff to ensure adequate standards are maintained
    • Resolving customer problems and complaints effectively and liaising promptly with all departments including customer relations to provide solutions for complaint handling
    • Conducting briefing sessions for QR and GHA staff and supervisors on every shift

    Person

    • To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelors degree (or equivalent) combined with at least four years of job-related experience with a minimum of three years in an airline or reputed GHA at the supervisory level.
    • You will need a good understanding of Qatar Airways Conditions of Carriage, International Civil Aviation Safety and Security procedures in accordance with ICAO and IATA and local authorities.
    • You will also need a good understanding of weight and balance, Ramp Handling, Dangerous Good Regulations.
    • You will need to be an experience leader with competency in coaching and mentoring staff.

    Senior Reservation & Ticketing Agent

    About your Job:

    As a Reservation & Ticketing Agent based in Ghana, you will provide a full service-oriented professional reservations and ticketing service to all customers and travel businesses either through telephone calls or in-person meetings in order to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and achieve annual budget revenue targets. You will be involved in the following tasks:

    • Arranging reservations and routing using timetable, airlines manuals, reference guides, and tariff book.

    About you:

    • You will need a minimum of a Trade or a vocational qualification  combined with at least three years of relevant experience within the airline or travel industry. You will need good knowledge of Amadeus with proficiency in Microsoft Office  also (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • You will be customer oriented with good communication skills, a positive 'can-do' attitude and an ability to work independently as well as in the team
    • Fluency in English is essential for this role.
