What you would be expected to do
Revenue recognition
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to recognize revenue for all products sold from the retail centers on Mpesa using the company ERP and other systems as will be required.
- Preparing TIMs report for all Mpesa sales done at the retail centers for revenue recognition to KRA
- Systems consumption of all products(s) fully recovered from retail agents.
Backend Support
- Regular audit of the ERP system, CRM, and any other inventory management systems to ensure consistency and integrity of inventory reporting.
- Prepare acknowledgment letters for all retail agents and internal stakeholders that report inventory damages and/or losses.
- Maintain data and regularly perform system movements for inventory as and when required to ensure inventory status and location matches AS-IS state.
- Attend to queries and concerns from retail agents and internal staff on loss acknowledgment letters.
- Initiate sim-swaps for all retail centers lines as and when required.
- Initiate MPESA reversal for wrong payments to the company’s till numbers and other money collection portal that may exist.
- Maintaining and updating MPESA statement for sales done in all retail centers for validation and reconciliation
- Attending to requests from retail centers executives that relate and not limited to merging payments, amending entries of sales done on MPESA APP etc
Knowledge Management
- Review existing processes and create content for retail executives and other internal stakeholders related to inventory management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop content geared at addressing any gaps identified within the retail chain.
- Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

- Have a degree qualification preferably in Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or any Finance Related Field
- Have 2-3 years’ working experience in Finance, Supply Chain Management and/or Statistics.
- Demonstrate knowledge in contract management.

- Are proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

Resolve all possible issues the Field Sales Executives face and report them to your Regional Business Manager every week. - Conduct joint fieldwork with a group of energy officers to provide sales and collection training weekly and drive EO engagement. - Meet or exceed sales and collection targets established on the 2nd of every month by your Regional Business Manager. Provide daily, weekly updates on sales, EO recruitments, Customer issues and resolutions, as desired and confirmed with your Regional Business Manager.
Drive robust field sales processes:
- Review collection progress with your team daily and provide adequate training to drive better collections in your areas. This includes customer and area profiling, ensuring regular and timely collection follow-ups, resolving customer issues to ensure they make payments and ultimately repossessing the systems as a last recourse if the customer defaults.
Resolve customer issues:
- Provide world-class support to your customers regarding product delivery, training on using and making payments, installation, and after-sales warranty issues. Ensure that you work with your energy officers to establish clear expectations and processes to resolve all customer issues within 24 hours.
Review meetings with energy officers:
- Conduct weekly table meetings with energy officers and ensure that you have a Regional Business Manager present in those meetings to resolve any outstanding customers or Energy Officer issues.
