Job Description

We are seeking to fill the role of an order fulfilment cordinator for our client. S/He will be responsible for planning, organizing and executing wave-based order picking and fulfilment activities in a warehouse. This role ensures efficient and accurate order processing, inventory management and the optimization of labour resources to meet customer demands.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop the warehouse wave execution for effective workloads, optimum resource availability, dynamic inventory allocation, consolidation requirements and pick face replenishment.
•  Ensure adherence for waves processes and procedures by the warehouse team for inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse.
• Collaborate with the warehouse management team to define and schedule picking waves based on order priorities, order volume and resource availability.
• Allocate resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel for each wave.
• Monitor inventory levels and availability to ensure that items needed for order fulfilment are in stock and accessible.
• Coordinate with replenishment teams to maintain stock levels.
• Supervise the execution of wave picking processes, ensuring that orders are accurately picked, packed and prepared for dispatch.
• Manage and coordinate the work of warehouse Operatives, and other warehouse employees involved in the wave.
• Implement quality control measures to verify the accuracy of order picking and packaging.
• Optimize labour resources to meet wave processing targets while minimizing downtime and labour costs.
• Responsible for addressing staffing needs and assign tasks to meet productivity goals.
• Maintain detailed records of wave processing activities including order fulfilment rates, accuracy and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Generate reports and provide performance metrics to management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and efficiency gains in wave management.
• Champion HSE at the warehouse

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of  experience in warehouse management, wave planning, or similar roles in a massive and busy warehouse
• WMS proficient

Roles & Reponsibilities:

• Participate in strategy formulation, implementation & review for proper stock management
• Prepare, implement, monitor & manage the annual budget for the department.
• Collaborate with the loss control team, and develop strategies to minimize pilferage & shrinkage –
• Develop, implement & review policies and procedures to provide guidelines on stock management.
• Collaborate with the HR Department representatives to deliver on the people management agenda
• Coordinate with Receiving/Dispatch Head and Warehouse Ops Section Head on the storage space and stock management best practices.
• Engage team members in preparation of schedules that ensure efficient & effective documentation of received & dispatched goods by suppliers & internal customers
• Accountable for accurate documentation of all invoices for payment by the Finance
• Prepare supplier delivery schedule based on daily demand, warehouse capacity and accepted stock levels.
• Accountable for wave execution based on the tasks at hand, priority per task and resources available to ensure efficient in customer demands execution and resource utilisation.
• Coordinate & oversee stock take of goods at the Warehouse

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in suply chain management or related field
• 5+ years experience in inventory management in a WMS controlled environment.
• Experience in 3PL supply chain operations a plus

Key responsibilities;

•  Develop and maintain training protocols around safety, health and environment
•  Review standard practices and procedures and effectively integrate safety, health and environment best practices where appropriate
•  Conduct regular safety, health and environment trainings with all team members tailored to their roles

Minimum Requirements;

•  A bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
•  Previous at least Five years’ experience working in a similar role in a company with high standards of occupational health and safety; steel manufacturing sector highly preferred.
•  Proven leadership, planning, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
•  Health and safety certification is required
•  should be ready to work either night or day shifts
