Aspen Medical is seeking a qualified Doctor specialized in one of the following categories: Aeromedical Evacuation, Anesthesiology, or Emergency Medicine to join our team for air and ground medical evacuation in support of one of our clients in Somalia.

Three years contract position

The company provides flight and accommodation.

Requirements:

• A first-level degree in medicine with a minimum of 3 years continuous progressively clinical experience post qualification.
• Postgraduate training in Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, or Aeromedicine with at least three years' experience.
• Aeromedical evacuation training and related qualifying experiences
• License to practice
• Fluency in English
• Experience in providing treatment under night flying conditions and with medical equipment compatible with NVG (Night Vision Goggles)
• Certification in ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) or ITLS and PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support) (or equivalent) with 12-month validity prior to deployment
• Preferred Certified PHTLS/ACLS Instructor.
