Architecture Draughtsman at Global Talent Masters Limited (GTM)

Job Overview

• We are looking for a reliable candidate who must have completed two years of Draughtsmanship
• Course or holds a BSc in Architecture (will be an advantage). He/ She needs to be able to work to meet deadlines and attention to details.

Responsibilities of Draughtman

•  Liaise with architectural team to gain clear understanding of project brief and design task
•  Gather required technical information and requirements
•  Ensure and verify technical detail drawings to conform to design and specifications
•  Make changes to technical drafts based on the recommendations of the project architects
•  Produce architectural and technical drawings and 3D models of various scales and levels of detail
•  Able to visit the site for inspection and verification when necessary
•  Must be flexible towards job assignment and can prioritize various different tasks and work as part of a team.
•  Perform other duties as required
• Qualifications
•  Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch up, Revit and related visualization and 3D software
•  Have very good experience producing scaled construction detailed drawings and shop drawings
•  Experienced in compiling data for architectural plans/details, specifications, quantity estimates and related reports
•  Strong organizational skills

Key Skills and Knowledge

•  Good interpersonal and communication skills (both verbally and written)
•  Able to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation and exercise sound judgement.
•  Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
•  Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
•  Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
•  Strong leadership and management skills
•  Proven working experience in construction management
•  Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
