    Assistant Market Research Officer

    We, Graphic Communications Group are looking for a social media enthusiast with a keen interest in digital media and an appreciation of data analysis who will be responsible for primary data collection on a variety of issues and the preparation of primary analysis for further development. The individual must have a passion for brands growth and a sense of purpose

    Key Accountabilities

    •  Co-ordinate digital campaign tracking and analytics
    •  Co-ordinate activities of data collection teams on a variety of assignments
    •  Conduct surveys on attitudes of readership and feedback to content and format of publications
    •  Track adverts and campaigns to assess success /failure of market penetration
    •  Conduct research and analysis on competition to provide feedback to management
    •  Solicit feedback from vendors and subscribers on content and format of publications
    •  Prepare primary analysis of feedback and results and submit to management for further development and analysis
    •  Conduct research and analysis on company’s brands to provide feedback to management

    Qualification Required & Experience

    •  Degree in Social Science, Mathematics or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years post qualification relevant experience.

    Skills/Competencies required

    •  Strong social media skills
    •  Strong computer literacy skills (conversant with the use of research software)
    •  Proven Research skills
    •  Strong analytical skills
    •  Ability to work to strict deadlines and under minimum supervision
    •  Flexible attitude to working arrangements/
    •  Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
    •  Working knowledge of the print media Industry would be a distinct advantage
    •  Good Team player
    •  Strong Digital competencies
