    Business Development Officer

    Job Description

    • Contribute to growth through delivery of ACCA’s global employer strategy in Ghana
    • Target employers across the various sectors in the region in the corporate/commercial and public sectors, encouraging them to recognize and adopt ACCA as the professional accountancy partner of choice.
    • Support effective key account management with employers, that clearly differentiates ACCA from its competitors. Identify, manage and develop ALPs from existing tuition providers.
    • Initiate and maintain relationships with key employers through face-to-face visits and other relevant communication channels. To co-ordinate and deliver effective employer-focused events, in line with ACCA’s Employer Engagement model
    • Participate in and contribute to the regional functional groups in relation to business development and account management
    • Develop key relationships with universities and higher education institutions, identifying opportunities for the alignment of their syllabi with ACCA’s to maximise opportunities for exemption accreditation and encouraging them to provide tuition towards the ACCA Qualification, where possible
    • Identifying, engaging and guiding high schools capable of incorporating the FIA qualification into their curriculum
    • Any other related activities as assigned.

    Requirement/Skills

    • Qualified to degree level
    • Previous B2B sales experience
    • Self-motivated approach to business development
    • Previous experience in an education organisation/institution would be advantageous
    • Experience of identifying new opportunities and securing the sale
    • Confident and articulate communicator, both written and spoken
    • Building relationships with clients and colleagues
    • A knowledge or understanding of ACCA would be beneficial
    • Fully proficient with MS Office – Word, Excel & Powerpoint
