    Business Development Volunteer

    About the Opportunity

    • We are looking for two Volunteers who could help us in the acquisition of early-stage tech startups.
    • You would work closely with our CEO and the Sales and Marketing teams to identify the right tech startups to approach, explain our value proposition, educate them on how they can leverage Volunteers from SkilledUp Life to build their tech companies, and convince them to sign up and subscribe.

    Our Need

    • Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
    • Some level of sales and business development experience.
    • Some understanding of the sales cycle.
    • Some level of understanding of the tech startups ecosystem.
    • Undergraduate degree or similar education.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent record keeping.
    • Self-learner and ability to execute tasks without any supervision.
    • Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism.

    Activities

    • Working with our CEO and the Sales Team, your Volunteer role includes:
    • Identify tech startups and add their details to HubSpot with contact details.
    • Craft a series of emails to nurture them.
    • Build the sales pipeline on HubSpot and nurture prospects.
    • Communicate through social media, email and WhatsApp in lead nurturing.
    • Arrange demos and any material they need.
    • Convince them to sign up and subscribe.

    Tools used:

    • Google Workspace.
    • Trello.
    • SkilledUp Life.
    • Slack
    • edocr

    Note:

    You have significant freedom to evolve within your role. Challenge the existing systems and processes and continually improve them.
