Chief Executive Officer at FSD Africa

FSD Africa is facilitating the establishment of a new entity in Ghana. This entity (FSD Ghana), will be supported by UK Aid with its primary mandate being to facilitate the development of the financial sector in Ghana.

FSD Africa is seeking to hire a dynamic, visionary leader to serve as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for FSD Ghana. The CEO will lead FSD Ghana to achieve its goal of generating sustainable improvements in the livelihoods of lower-income people in Ghana, through the development of a financial system which delivers real value. S/he will lead the development of FSD Ghana’s vision, mission, and strategy as well as bear the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the organization’s long-term success and sustainability.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years’ multidisciplinary experience working within financial services/economic policy. Deep networks in the financial sector in Ghana coupled with prior experience working alongside senior stakeholders in both the private and public sectors is critical. Likewise, the CEO will have a strong analytical mindset with a proven track record working in complex environments and creating opportunities for growth within an organization.
