Ensures the temple ordinances are kept pure, recorded accurately and made available to worthy Church members by

• Providing an environment where patrons may have a positive and uplifting experience each time they come to the temple.
• Maintaining and operating temples at standards established by the First Presidency.
• Helps provide work leadership and training for Linen and Laundry employees and Church service workers of assigned shift and helps to see that patrons receive clean clothing and high quality service.

Responsibilities:

35% - Acts as work leader at the clothing counter or laundry area on assigned shifts by:

• Training personnel and Church service workers in linen or laundry areas in operation of equipment and other duties.
• Training cashiers and assisting each shift in checking out and balancing till. Operates cash registers when necessary.
• Determining schedule for cleaning robes and clothing for brides and grooms.
• Encouraging everyone to keep all areas clean, neat, orderly and operating smoothly.
• Processing employee time sheets in absence of supervisor or as assigned.
• Assisting in making work assignments as needed.
• 10% - Assisting with brides and grooms and living endowments by providing necessary clothing and supplies.
• 10% - May purchase resale garments and assist with the purchase of clothing inventories.
• 45% - Performs all same duties of clothing clerk.

Qualification:

• One to Three years experience preferably in temple linen and laundry area with cash register, sewing, and laundry equipment.
